All because I stayed at the Niccolo Changsha Hotel. ▪️ The hotel is hidden on the top floor of the IFC Mall; the 93rd-floor lobby is stunning from the moment you enter. ▪️ I stayed in the N3 River View Room, and could see the Xiangjiang River flowing right from my bed. ▪️ The location is absolutely amazing—just a few steps down is Cha Yan Yue Se (a popular bubble tea shop), and to the right is Wenheyou (a local specialty shop), and to the left is Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street. It's perfectly tailor-made for a lazy vacation! 🗓️ Four-Day Itinerary 🌟 Day 1: Food and Instagrammable Spots Upon Arrival 3:00 PM Arrive at the hotel and check in at the 93rd-floor lobby. Staff served welcome tea, instantly appreciating the thoughtfulness. 4:00 PM After settling into the room, I was immediately captivated by the view from the window. Quickly snapped a few photos pretending to be in the clouds 📸 Time for a stroll— ✅ 5-minute walk to the famous Changsha Instagrammable wall for photos. ✅ 10-minute walk to Super Wenheyou, a journey back to the 80s. 7:00 PM Everyone grabbed a cup of Chayan Yuese (a popular tea brand) and strolled along Huangxing Road. 9:00 PM Back at the hotel, took a bath, and enjoyed the night view. 🥘 Day 2: Culture and Gourmet Food Combined 8:30 AM Woke up early specifically for the hotel's buffet breakfast! A special shout-out to these: 🍳Not only do they have a regular buffet, but they also offer an à la carte menu. 🥟The chef's freshly made Changsha rice noodles and Eggs Benedict were amazing! Sitting by the window, enjoying breakfast over the Xiangjiang River, was pure bliss. 12:00 Benluobo is just across the street (remember to get a number in advance!) 14:00 Three hours at the Changsha Museum 18:00 Tianxiaogou Restaurant, recommended by a local friend—authentic local ingredients and home-style flavors. 20:00 Xiangjiang River night cruise with the light show. 22:00 Back at the hotel, head straight to BAR 93 for a couple of drinks and some jazz—perfect for a date with friends. 🎇 Day 3: Weekend Limited-Time - Liuyang Fireworks Trip 9:00 Woke up naturally, got up for breakfast 12:00 Departed for Liuyang (1.5-hour taxi ride) 14:00 Enjoyed the spicy and fresh steamed dishes at Brothers Steamed Dishes Restaurant 20:00 Sky Theater Fireworks Show 🎆 Watching it live was so romantic, words fail me! 22:00 Returned to the hotel, fell asleep right there in the clouds 🍊 Day 4: Perfect Ending 9:00 Enjoyed breakfast in the sky for the last time 11:00 Checked out, stored luggage, and went to Orange Isle 12:00 Had one last Hunan meal near Orange Isle 15:00 Picked up luggage at the hotel reception.
