The Taozhuang Raffles store in the dimly lit area is already amazing. Now that the Gulou branch has opened, there is another place to drink and chat. The color, aroma and taste of Taohua wine can all be called fine wine. The ultra-low alcohol content takes care of most girls who can't drink. A dozen is not enough. The dishes include both traditional dishes and fusion and innovative dishes. Since there is wine, let's start with a wave of appetizers. The mouth-watering chicken is recommended. The taste is slightly spicy and the chicken is very tender. The taste and shape are very good. The three side dishes of flower snails, drunken crabs, and crab legs are all very good appetizers. They taste good and are not expensive. The small yellow croaker, three portions are put together into one plate. The small yellow croaker is quite flavorful. It tastes good when it is hot. The toothpick meat, a small string of toothpick meat is placed in a ceramic pot, which looks very cute. The hot dishes recommended are roasted pork knuckles, lamb chops, and eggplant pot. The roasted pork knuckles are not greasy at all. I especially like the roasted pig skin. It is a little crispy on the outside, and the pork is not roasted dry. Dip it in cumin The noodles tasted very good, and the lamb chops were also delicious. They were all gone as soon as they were served. The eggplant pot was very tasty. There was another dish whose name I didn't know. Clams, bullfrogs, and cauliflower were cooked together. It was a mix, but it tasted good. Okra and black fungus were also very popular. They were refreshing and healthy vegetables. There were also sweet and sour spare ribs, celery and longli fish soup, braised pork, shrimp, sour soup beef, enoki mushrooms and shrimp. There were many dishes, and some of the shapes were quite special. Eggs hitting stones, the egg liquid was poured into the hot stone pot, and it was cooked on the spot. The sense of interaction was very strong. Don't be impatient when eating, it's a little hot. There were also desserts such as fruit salad, papaya aloe vera, and ice cream. The papaya aloe vera tasted more natural. I personally prefer this way of eating. The fruit salad was also quite polite. After a round of ice cream, I found that it was already at the bottom, so I didn't eat it. The amount of food was relatively small. With such an environment and artistic conception, it is a good place to chat and reminisce with friends and girlfriends.
In fact, the quality of the dishes is not important anymore. The environment here is good. The overall environment and exquisite dishes are more suitable for girls' gatherings. I believe this is also their main customer group.
Very classical environment. Peach Blossom wine is said to be good, but I didn't drink it because I was driving. The food tasted average. I ordered the recommended Eastern Han Dynasty barbecue. Crystal shrimp balls are jealous, but I personally don't recommend them. Seven-flavor dice tofu and cowboy love fortune are relatively good.
For lunch at Gulou Commercial Street, I chose Taojian, a restaurant with a Ningbo concept. The whole decoration style is quite Chinese, with poems, guqin, small bridges, flowing water, and peach blossoms everywhere. A pot of pink and tender peach blossom wine is particularly eye-catching, sour and sweet with the feeling of sparkling wine, so exquisite that you can't put it down. We came a little late, so many dishes were sold out. I tried a few dishes and they were all good, at least the creativity added points. For example, the barbecue from the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty was crispy on the outside and tough on the inside, with a special taste and very beautiful. There is also the seven-flavor dice tofu, which is quite vivid, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and you can't stop eating it. The small private room feels very comfortable, with curtains covering it, and good privacy. Location: On the second floor to the right of the Gulou archway
Honestly, Taozhuang is a place I've always wanted to try but never got to. One day, a friend suggested we get together, and Taozhuang was the first place I thought of, so I suggested going to the Gulou branch. Well, it's a truly classy place, with impeccable decor and service. It's fantastic. But... the most important thing about a restaurant is the taste!!! First, I tried peach blossom wine. I've heard so many people say it's delicious, so I ordered two pots to try... Well, peach blossom wine probably doesn't have any flavor, and the wine isn't overly strong either. Even a non-drinker who wants to try it can have a bottle without any pressure. The alcohol content is probably quite low, and the taste is just average. This is probably the worst pickled fish I've ever had, bar none! I wanted to cry after one bite. What could make pickled fish so bad?! My homemade version is tons better, okay? I ordered a creative dish called "Picking a Stone from an Egg." I didn't take a photo because I finished it as soon as it was served. It was okay; at least I could eat it. The picture above is similar to the egg, greens, black fungus, and enoki mushroom soup, which I think is pretty good. Seriously. Believe me, if this dish were any worse, this place wouldn't be open anymore. The beef skewers, well... they're just beef skewers!! They're just like street-grilled beef skewers. The taste is just so-so, not particularly impressive. The fruit fried shrimp... well... they're not pineapple fried shrimp. Where's the shrimp? I didn't get any. The fruit... not much... but the taste was okay. I won't say much about the baby cabbage; I'm not a huge fan either. That's it. There was a dish with a slice of cucumber and a piece of barbecued meat on top of potato chips. Well, it's called "Dividing Barbecue in the Late Eastern Han Dynasty." The food was served very quickly! Overall, it was more about the presentation than the taste. The most important thing was the party! Oh, and by the way! My bowl was broken! Broken!
