Facing the sea, a very nice place with beautiful scenery and good wine
As dusk settled, I strolled alone along Qianqiao Street next to the Hanting Hotel. The streetlights, just coming on, cast a flowing glow on the wet asphalt. A cool evening breeze, carrying the fresh scent of rain, brushed against my cheeks and fluttered the billboards of the roadside eateries. Pedestrians hurried by, some heading home, others to appointments, each blending into the city's nightscape. I was merely a leisurely passerby, without a destination, letting my footsteps lead me. Faint laughter drifted from street corners, mingling with the distant hustle and bustle of traffic, composing a tranquil yet vibrant symphony of life unique to this moment. The hotel's warm lights behind me felt like a temporary harbor, while the street scene before me was a flowing, vibrant tapestry of everyday life. This stroll allowed the weariness of my journey to quietly dissipate. (Hanting Hotel (Qingdao Zhanqiao Railway Station Branch), Huazhu Qingdao Dream Ship Seaview Hotel & Geisha Beer, GeishaLounge, Shanhaiji Seaview B&B (Qingdao Badaguan Branch))
Staying at the Huazhu Dream Ship Seaview Hotel during my trip to Qingdao was such a wonderful surprise! 📍Located at No. 5 Nanhai Road, Shinan District, it's just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Turning left leads directly to the sycamore-lined avenue of Badaguan, while turning right brings you to Xiaoyushan Park and the Naval Museum – a truly prime location. Especially in autumn, the entire hotel is enveloped in golden maple leaves; every snapshot looks like a scene from a movie 🎬 🌊【Location and View】 • Within walking distance of Badaguan, Xiaoyushan Park, and the Underwater World; a 10-minute taxi ride to Zhanqiao Pier • I highly recommend choosing a high-floor seaview room. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the azure sea and sky, allowing you to relax and watch the misty sea even on rainy days. • I especially recommend the popular terrace on the third floor! Bring a Geisha draft beer at sunset and watch the evening glow paint the sea orange. Taking a romantic silhouette photo with your loved one is incredibly charming (see picture 2 for the strolling pedestrian scene). 🏨【Hotel Highlights】 • The rooms feature a minimalist wood style and are equipped with a smart toilet and capsule coffee machine. • The craft beers at Geisha Lounge are a must-try, offering 6 unique Qingdao flavors. • Attention to detail: complimentary Laoshan mineral water and handmade cookies are provided. The front desk thoughtfully draws a map of nearby restaurants. 📸【Photography Tips】 1. Morning Light at Badaguan (7:00-8:30) - A 5-minute walk from the hotel to Shanhaiguan Road, where the morning light filters through the sycamore leaves. - Outfit suggestion: A beige trench coat + beret, paired with fallen leaves for a perfect atmosphere. 2. Blue Moments on the Third-Floor Terrace - Capture the gradient colors where the sea and sky meet in the sunset using your phone's portrait mode within 20 minutes before and after sunset. ⚠️【Useful Tips】 • Now is the most beautiful season in Qingdao, but the temperature difference between day and night is significant, so bring a jacket. • It takes about 50 minutes by taxi from the airport to the hotel. Alternatively, take Metro Line 3 to Huiquan Square Station, Exit C, and walk 800 meters. My biggest takeaway from this trip is: in Qingdao, don't rush through every tourist spot. Choosing the right hotel and taking a leisurely stroll is the right way to experience it. Watching the skyscrapers gradually light up through the sea mist—that's the truly healing rhythm of Qingdao 🌃 #QingdaoExploration #SeasideVacation #AutumnTravelPlans #TrendyHotelCheckIn #BadaguanPhotography
