Not bad~ I don't like eating zongzi so I tried it out of a try mentality and it was really good~ The peanut butter had a rich flavor~ I ordered the scallop and pork zongzi~ It did have scallops and a big piece of pork belly😜😜😜😜😜 With a bowl of radish and small intestine soup~ Perfect~

I ordered a scallop and pork rice dumpling. The rice dumpling was very big. The first bite was a piece of lean meat, very fragrant and tender, with a piece of fat, mushrooms, eggs, and the scallops were not very noticeable. It was topped with sesame sauce and some hot sauce, and maybe some fermented bean curd. The overall taste was okay, but you can't eat too much, otherwise it will be a bit greasy.

Dongjie Bell Tower Zongzi Shop is at the entrance of Dongjie, near the bell tower. Next to it is the famous Hou Apo Zongzi Shop. The shop is quite big. The noodle soup tastes average. The zongzi tastes better in Jiaxing. I like the sauce on the zongzi, which is sweet and has a strong peanut flavor.

Dongjie Zhonglou Meat Zongzi is a very distinctive traditional snack in southern Fujian, and a delicacy that you cannot miss when traveling to Quanzhou. It's incredibly filling. There are three well-known restaurants near the Bell Tower. I couldn't find Grandma Hou, so I went to this one. The atmosphere isn't great. The rice dumplings aren't cooked through. They're not sticky and fall apart. The meat dumplings they sell aren't meat dumplings at all; they're just hot pot ingredients. Absolutely speechless. Walk 50 meters and you'll see Grandma Hou. I'll have to try it again next time.
