霞光升起Hengshan Road has always been a very prestigious street in Shanghai for its rich Shanghainese cultural elements. The buildings on Hengshan Road are permeated with too many stories.
At the intersection of Hengshan Road and Urumqi South Road, there is a beautiful European-style building (address: No. 55 Urumqi South Road), now called "Boheng 55", which exudes a full classical temperament through the swaying light and shadow of the French plane trees. This is a new landmark that has emerged in recent years. In Chinese, "Bo" means long, "Heng" means moderation, and 55 interprets the meaning of home.
It is said that its predecessor was built by the British, and later for various reasons, the house was vacant for 10 years.
Until 2012, ASC Fine Wines, a leading domestic wine distributor, and its brand "Cangjiuxuan" made this silent old building come into people's sight again. But in 2016, ASC announced the closure of "Cangjiuxuan" on Hengshan Road due to operational problems. At this time, Lu Jinyuan, who was well-known in the wine collection industry, took over "Cangjiuxuan". He led the team of The Group to redefine "Cangjiuxuan", combining Shanghai's Shanghai style culture with contemporary art, so that this old building not only retains the traditional feelings, but also gathers Chinese and Western food, fine wine, art and culture, etc., and changed its name to "Boheng 55", making it a new landmark of food and wine in Shanghai.
Boheng 55 retains the original wine cellar, with 3,000 different fine wines from 15 countries and 40 wine producing areas, and is the largest urban wine cellar in Shanghai.

Located at the intersection of Wurumuqi South Road and Hengshan Road, this is an old garden villa. The owner is a gourmet and wine connoisseur.
Xiangyang South Road is 1,499 meters long and 16 meters wide. Originally known as Route Tenant de la Tour, it was built by the Shanghai French Concession Municipal Council from 1918 to 1921 and named after an employee of the French Mail Steamship Company. It was renamed Xiangyang Road in 1943 when the Wang Jingwei government took over the concession. It was then renamed Xiangyang South Road in 1946. I was strolling around the area today and noticed a number of lovely little cafes, mostly single-story roadside establishments. It feels relatively off-the-beaten-path, not particularly well-known, and not a very long road. However, it does feature several excellent historical buildings and many small alleyways where you can wander and explore Shanghai's old-fashioned lofts. There are also a few Western-style restaurants, making it a perfect place for a stroll. ⚠️There's an elementary school nearby, so be sure not to come during the afternoon break, as the traffic is incredibly chaotic 😕 #ShanghaiNewTrendyLifestyle #EatAllCityFree #CreatorBounty #I'mAFoodie #citywalk #ShanghaiCityWalk #SightseeingDistrict #HistoricArchitecture #UncommonCheck-In Spots
📍Amuni Gelato·Coffee·Ice Cream·Dessert (Yongjia Road Branch) 🚗Just after returning from Italy, the video (likely a video link) sent me a video of the owner, Alex, who specializes in Italian gelato and affogatos (gelato + espresso). I've always wanted to try affogato in Shanghai, and today, I happened to be passing by and decided to give it a try. I ordered an Amuni affogato, and you pour your own coffee. It seems like in Italy, you only get the gelato on the top of the cup, leaving the coffee underneath. This place gave me a generous amount of gelato, so by the end, the bottom was all covered in gelato, which was still quite sweet. 🚗There's a small courtyard with a few tables outside and three small tables inside. The waiters were quite nice, including one who seemed to be hearing-impaired. I have to say the owner is quite nice in Italy, and I've seen reviews saying he's very nice. It's a shame I didn't meet him today, but I'll definitely come back and experience it when I have the chance. #ShanghaiExploreStore #Internet Red Store Checkout #ShanghaiTravel #BreadheadCheck-inMap #Ice Cream Shop #Venue Rental #Commercial Street #Internet Red Store Worth Checking Out
If I want to stroll through Wutong District, my first choice is Jianguo West Road. Although it's located in the bustling Xuhui District, the street remains clean, tidy, and peaceful. Stroll under the trees and observe the Shikumen (Shikumen) houses, small villas, and the relaxed pace of life along the way. #ShanghaiTravelGuide #CityWalkCityWandering #CreativeIncentivePlanShareTenThousandCash #WeekendMicroTravel #WhereToGoSpring
