根正苗红的小阿轩A Japanese yakitori restaurant that has been very popular in Shanghai recently.
The reason why I chose this restaurant is that I came to Shanghai alone again this time, and I think it is very suitable to find a Japanese restaurant with a bar to drink a draft beer and eat some skewers. It just so happens that I have been wanting to try the "lantern" recently, so I chose "Jiuyi" which has the most aesthetic style among the yakitori restaurants with "lanterns" within a few miles.
I hurried over after making a reservation at the bar. It was nearly ten o'clock in the evening when I arrived at the restaurant, and all the tables and bar seats were full.
Before you go, remember to make a reservation in advance and ask about the inventory of your favorite dishes. When I went, special parts such as "lantern", "shirako", "diaphragm" and "chicken oysters" were all sold out... Even chicken liver, a must-order dish for entry-level yakitori restaurants, was sold out.
But even though my ordering plan was disrupted, the skewers I ordered were still all good.
Just a few simple ones.
The two ingredients of chicken skin and garlic are just right. The chicken skin is very crispy, the garlic is not spicy, and it is soft and sticky.
The goose liver must be praised. It should be brushed with a layer of sugar when it is roasted, forming a thin layer of caramel-colored coat, and the outer layer tastes fragrant and crispy. After biting it open, you can see that the inside is still pink, with a delicate and tender taste.
The roasted beef intestines are also good. The skin of the intestines is roasted crispy, and the caramel aroma of the intestine oil is also roasted.
The thick-cut beef tongue is obviously the back end of the beef tongue, and the taste is soft and rotten without any resistance.
All the skewers at Jiuyi are grilled with direct charcoal. The open kitchen is separated by glass, and the bar surrounds the kitchen. Diners can enjoy the whole process of the chef's production while eating skewers.
Sitting at the bar, drinking some "small drinks" and eating some skewers, this atmosphere is quite pleasant. Whether it is because of the taste or the small regret that I didn't eat the "lantern" this time, Jiuyi will make me visit the yakitori restaurant twice.

Finally found the ceiling of Shanghai Yakitori! ! This treasure izakaya hidden in Jing'an District perfectly reproduces the fireworks of Tokyo from the door to the bar. The aroma of freshly roasted Yakitori under the warm yellow light is fragrant, and the refreshing Hi-Bo can instantly cure all fatigue~ 🔥Must-order recommendation: ✔️ Mentaiko pork rice cake roll: the rice cake is one meter long! There is so much Mentaiko sauce that it overflows, and the crispy outer skin + glutinous filling are directly enshrined! ✔️ Thick-cut beef tongue & grilled beef ribs: the beef tongue is tender and chewy, and the ribs are fragrant💥 (remember to eat it while it's hot!) ✔️ Tomato Hi-Bo + Honeydew Melon and Lime Hi-Bo: The refreshing CP of sweet and sour tomatoes and honeydew melon, very refreshing~ The happiness of the late-night canteen is just like this! The fatigue of summer melted away in this bite of hi-bang + a skewer of yakitori!! ✨Four kinds of divine hi-bangs to the top ✅Yuzu whiskey: Refreshing yuzu fragrance mixed with a slightly tipsy feeling of whiskey, like taking a bite of iced yuzu soda! ✅Tomato passion fruit vodka: Sweet and sour explosion💥! One sip seems to hold the entire summer sunshine in your mouth! ✅Shiso peach vodka: Shiso fragrance + peach sweetness, even breathing is fruity, so healing! ✅Basil gin soda: Lemon basil fragrance is amazing! Bubbles dance on the tip of the tongue, cooling down in a second🔥! The freshly roasted yakitori is so fragrant that you stomp your feet! The wagyu leek and fresh shrimp rolls are sizzling with oil, and the wagyu is so tender that it bursts with juice! The wagyu double pepper abalone is super large, Q-elastic and tender, and the more you chew, the more fragrant it is! The chicken meatballs are so juicy, and the crispy skin is amazing! The grilled pineapple is the best! Caramelized skin + sweet and sour flesh, the best way to relieve greasiness! #The most asked place in Moments #Where to go on weekends #My late night canteen
Recently, I have eaten at several Japanese restaurants in a row. I would like to share with you some of the restaurants that I think are delicious. Yakiniku Fule (Hongqiao Electronic Plaza): I personally like their special rice dishes, various flavors of bibimbap, especially salmon seafood rice, which tastes 👍🏻. Toriya Yakitori Skewer Izakaya (Panyu Road Branch) They have many types of yakitori, and the skewers are smooth and refreshing. Yu Yakitori Izakaya Their sashimi dishes are good, and there is also a gold powder, which is very ceremonial. Shuyi Yakitori Sake Field Come to their house in the evening to drink a special Hi-Bo, and you will feel relaxed. Dongban Japanese Cuisine (Sun Moon Light Branch) Their sushi has always been popular, and the recently launched snow ice is quite good.
