After a walk around the area, I found this one, except for those with long queues and too expensive. The fried lamb rack with almond sauce is the most cost-effective, it seems to be 69 yuan, three lamb racks, quite big, and tasted good. Everything else is OK, the seafood rice is more in line with Chinese tastes.
I prefer Spanish cuisine, which has more varieties than ordinary Western food. I have always kept this restaurant in my collection. I came here with my friends on the weekend. The location is great. It is located in Sinan Mansion. The single-family house is divided into two floors, which is quite impressive. "Fried mushrooms" are a little oily, but the mushrooms are still relatively tender. The quantity is not large, which is very suitable for appetizers; "Iberian whole acorn ham with tomato bread" How can Spanish food not order ham? It is full of salty flavor and a little chewy. It will taste richer with some red wine; "Traditional seafood rice" The hardness of the rice is quite moderate, there are many kinds of small seafood, and it tastes good with some sauce; "Lava chocolate with vanilla ice cream" The dessert style is not so delicate, and the taste is also average, which is a little disappointing. Overall, the environment is good, most of the Spanish specialties are available, and the price is moderate. You can try it.
Las Tapas, this Spanish-style restaurant, with its rich and diverse delicious snacks, authentic Spanish flavors and warm service atmosphere, allows every customer to feel the romance and comfort as if they were in a foreign country. It is an excellent place to taste Spanish food culture.
Sinan Mansions, an architectural complex that combines Shanghai's historical style with modern urban charm, has won wide acclaim for its unique cultural heritage, exquisite architectural style and elegant living environment, and has become a beautiful landscape in the city.
A friend recommended this restaurant for a good seafood rice, so we went for a meal together. The entrance of the restaurant is a little small, a bit bistro-style. But it's easy to find, just across the street from Starbucks. There are two floors in total, and there are a lot of people at noon on weekdays, but it's a pity that the second floor is not open. There is a long table on the first floor, and there are a few small tables. I ordered a few signature items: [Grilled Lamb Rack] There are three in a serving, the seasoning is OK, but the lamb chops are overcooked, and I feel that they are not as delicious as those made in Xinjiang restaurants. [Mushroom Soup] The name is different from the menu, but there are only two soups in total, which must correspond (the other is a seasonal soup). This soup is really recommended! The truffle flavor is not obvious, but the taste is very rich, I like it very much! [Shrimp Potato Cake] There are 4 pieces in a serving, except that it is a little salty, everything else is delicious! The shrimp and mashed potatoes are perfectly blended, the outer layer is baked crispy, and it has a milky aroma. It seems to be only 42 pieces, which is very cost-effective. [Traditional Seafood Rice] The rice is not as raw as I imagined, I like it very much. In addition to the seafood you can see on the noodles, there are also a lot of seafood in the rice, which is very filling! [One bite] I chose salmon and arugula, both of which are my favorites. I ate the topping in one bite, so satisfied! The fried lotus root slices at the bottom were over-oiled, so I gave up after one bite. The bread was surprisingly delicious! This restaurant is worth a second visit! Hmm!
Las Tapas (Sinan Mansion Branch) No. 45 Sinan Road, Sinan Mansion, Building 32, 1st-2nd Floor Metro Line 13, Huaihai Middle Road Station, Exit 1, about a 700-meter walk I've been to Las Tapas in Jinqiao before, but it was a treat from a friend I didn't know well. I was a bit reserved throughout the meal and didn't feel comfortable eating a lot. Finally, I took advantage of my bestie's birthday to savor my favorite Spanish food and commemorate our unforgettable trip to Spain. Of all the major European cuisines, Spanish is my favorite. French cuisine is exquisite but too formal and complex. Italian cuisine emphasizes original flavors, but I'm not a fan of pizza or pasta. Spanish cuisine, on the other hand, is relaxed and casual, especially for a seafood lover like me. A truly authentic Spanish restaurant, with its vibrant red accents and a wide variety of tapas, it's like I'm back on that trip to Spain with four of us. "Iberian Acorn-Fed Ham with Tomato Bread" Everyone who's been to Spain loves Spanish ham, and we're no exception. Iberian Acorn-Fed Ham, as thin as a cicada's wing. The flavor was fresh and fragrant. It was just the front leg of the ham, so it seemed a bit too fatty. The owner was kind enough to give us a small portion of the back leg to try. It was perfectly salty and fragrant. "Fried Mushrooms" Their mushrooms were also very delicious. However, I preferred the grilled mushrooms with ham I had in Madrid. The juicy mixture of the ham and mushrooms paired perfectly with the sangria, making it a memorable dish. "Valencia Paella" The highlight of the meal was the "Valencia Paella." Instead of scallops and mussels, their paella is made with crab legs and crayfish. The legs and crayfish are incredibly tender. Everything was very fresh and chewy. The rice wasn't undercooked; it was soft and flavorful. [Australian Wagyu Rib Eye Steak 500g] Since all four of us love steak, we generously ordered a 500g portion. The Wagyu eye was generously portioned, with a nice amount of marbling and just the right amount of fat and lean. The meat, though medium-rare, was a bit tough. There was no trace of blood, and the meat was a bit white. The roasted garlic on the side was sweet and tender. Everyone ate it up. [Seared Spanish Baby Squid] and [Conch] were also standouts of the meal. The conch was chewy and the Spanish baby squid had a unique flavor. Overall, Las Tapas is pretty authentic Spanish cuisine. Several dishes were noteworthy. The drinks and steak were a bit underwhelming. I look forward to further improvements. I'll be back next time.
