Shanghai Luneng JW Marriott Marquis Hotel was designed by the famous American SOM architectural design firm. At first glance, the whole building seems to be folded by layers of water waves. It is the same school as the Dubai Tower, with a unique design style, a unique geographical location and beautiful scenery.
Due to its unique advantages in geographical location, architectural design, uniqueness, hotel scale and diversified dining experience, it is named "Marquis".
Public area
Entering the hotel lobby, the floor-to-ceiling windows running through the atrium naturally bring light and shadow into the room, bringing the distant riverside scenery into view. Each counter is presented in a geometric sculpture shape, and each neat and simple furniture is also compared to the large and small ships shuttling on the river, living in it.
Guest room
The bedroom area of the guest room is handled purely, and the large bed is matched with a stable color scheme, giving people a sense of tranquility. The basket-style table lamps of different heights on both sides of the bed, the bedside tables with complex and simple patterns, the headboard decorated with lines, and the carpet with Art Deco textures are classical and modern.
The bathroom mirror is mainly dark brown with wooden trim, which interprets the calm Chinese style. The wash basin is designed to be higher than the general wash basin to avoid water splashing, and the details are heartwarming.
Restaurant
The hotel's Chinese restaurant Ling, with the concept of a mansion, harmoniously blends the elegant French style with the graceful Chinese elements, highlighting the charm of Shanghai culture and presenting elegant and unique Hong Kong and Guangdong delicacies. Ling has a three-story duplex river view, and the restaurant is divided into three parts: Ling·Yuan, Ling·Yuan and Ling·Jing. Guests can see the delicious cooking process in the open kitchen of Ling·Yuan and enjoy the double enjoyment of taste and vision.
Executive Lounge
The Executive Lounge combines modern and simple design with rich and elegant art, and integrates the home open kitchen design, allowing guests to experience delicious temptations while enjoying the business and leisure space. Located on the lobby floor, the JW Lounge has sunlight shining into the lounge through large French windows, and guests can enjoy the charming view of the Huangpu River in tranquility.
The hotel is more business-oriented, with a superior geographical location and very good landscape and interior design. It is the most cost-effective hotel in the Marriott series.

Last year, I chose to celebrate my birthday at Shanghai JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Luneng. The full sense of ceremony left a deep impression on me. This time, I came to "Miss Ling's" family dinner for another spring date. Le Manoir Ling is a Shanghai-style Cantonese restaurant designed and built with the story of "Miss Ling" as inspiration. Let's take a look at what is on this spring limited menu. Boston lobster baked with spring bamboo shoots and sand ginger combines the sweet, crispy and tender spring bamboo shoots with lobster, which is very novel and delicious. Bamboo shoot fish with tree tomato and wild rice stems is used, and the fish meat is tender and delicious. Yunnan tree tomato and wild rice stems are slowly steamed with hot steam, sour and sweet, refreshing and appetizing. Steamed marbled beef with lotus-flavored pickled cabbage, this is a dish of Chaozhou pickled cabbage wrapped in lotus leaves and tender marbled beef. The beef slices have the fragrance of lotus leaves and the meat is tender. Spring peas stewed with pigeon eggs, this soup is quite special. The soup base is freshly boiled old hen soup, with soft-boiled pigeon eggs and green peas boiled together, which is refreshing and nourishing. The Cantonese-style preserved meat clay pot rice is filled with amaranth, golden and crispy rice crust, and rice full of sausage flavor. Even if you are full, you must have a bowl. There are also cold dishes and desserts that are exquisite and delicious. If you say this is a private room in a restaurant, I think it is more like a restaurant in a mansion, sitting together with friends to enjoy spring vegetables and watch the spring scenery. #美食旬味会 #浪漫约会餐厅 #这些酒店风景超好
🔆 If we talk about hotels that "tell stories", JW Marriott Marquis Shanghai Luneng is definitely the top hotel I have ever visited. Going to the hotel's "Ling Yao" restaurant is like attending a family dinner with the hostess "Miss Ling". Miss Ling's legendary life experience, elegant life taste, and her love of food that strives for perfection, can make people taste a unique charm. If you go to the "Ling Yao" restaurant for dinner, remember to ask the waiter to tell you Miss Ling's story, you will definitely have a deeper understanding of the dishes here~ Here we eat Shanghai-style Cantonese cuisine, and the business is very good. It is full at noon! I ordered a few of Miss Ling's favorite signature dishes: 🌟【Pre-meal fruit】 The honeydew melon balls and watermelon balls are very delicately presented on the plate, and a little orange juice is added to the plate. The sourness makes the fruit sweeter. I like this idea very much. 🌟【Cold dish】 ✅ Crispy three-yellow salted chicken: The traditional three-yellow salted chicken is the favorite of old Shanghainese. The chicken skin here is indeed particularly crispy, and the meat is a little tough, and the more you chew, the more fragrant it is. ✅ Local smoked fish: Whether the smoked fish is delicious reflects the level of local cuisine in a restaurant. This smoked fish is fried to crispy on the outside, and the fish meat inside is also very tasty, thumbs up! 🌟【Soup】 ✅ Four Seas One Bowl: The signature dish of the restaurant, it is said that every table must order it. With fish maw chicken soup as the base, there are fresh prawns and konjac shreds in it, which is very thick. The taste is a bit like a simplified version of Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, which is very fresh. 🌟【Hot dish】 ✅ Slow-cooked Australian beef ribs: Australian beef is of good quality. Take the beef ribs, the meat is more fresh. Braised to be crispy and tender, the level is first-class. ✅Steamed Bamboo Shoot Fish: The fish is very fresh and is delicious after a simple steaming. The fish meat is so tender and melts in your mouth. ✅Pan-fried Foie Gras and Lotus Root Cake: A creative and slightly extravagant method. The rich taste of foie gras and the tenderness of fresh lotus roots bring a wonderful collision. ✅Stir-fried lily with bean sprouts: The lily is sweet and not bitter at all. Stir-fried bean sprouts are refreshing and very suitable for summer and early autumn. 🌟【Main course】 ✅Black Truffle Abalone Rice: A whole abalone lies on the rice, and the strange fragrance of black truffle makes this bowl of rice more tempting. ✅Lingjia Yellow Croaker Noodles: The noodles are particularly smooth, and the yellow croaker soup is fresh and not greasy. It is a favorite of locals! -------------- 🎈Ling·Dining 🔆JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Luneng JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Luneng·Ling·Dining Le Manoir Ling·Dining 📍Address: No. 988, Puming Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai #Private Secrets in the City #Food Forest Restaurant Check-in #Food that can only be eaten locally #Romantic Date Restaurant
