野枫印象Reebo 1987 Craft Brewing is a western restaurant renovated on the site of the original Reebo Brewery. It is also a remembrance of this old beer brand that was once popular in Shanghai. The square outside the restaurant retains the original chimney of the Reebo Brewery and decorations with traces of the 1980s and 1990s. The interior decoration of the restaurant is industrial style, and some industrial equipment used in the original brewery is partially restored. The meals are mainly western food. There are many flavors of beer to choose from. Roasted pork elbows, German sausage platters, etc., taste pretty good.

The original Reebo Brewery was well-known in Shanghai. After the renovation, it has become a CBD and beer experience hall. The experience hall retains the original industrial style to the greatest extent. The large brewing barrels have become the bottom of the beer table, and the towering chimney has become the biggest symbol. There are several flavors of craft beer. You can choose a set meal to taste them all at once. If you have a special liking, you can also choose one of them to taste slowly. In addition to beer, the store also has Western-style meals. On a cool summer night, it is a good choice to come here for a drink.
In the 1980s and 1990s, the advertising song "Reasons for Loving Shanghai" of Shanghai Reebo Beer became popular and became the collective memory of a generation of Shanghai people. In the 1990s, Shanghai Reebo Beer had been the top brand in the Shanghai beer industry for 12 years. However, sales fell sharply from 2006 to 2010, and residents in the surrounding area complained about the factory's coal ash and exhaust emissions. By 2014, Reebo had lost tens of millions of yuan a year. In May 2021, at No. 91 Yimei Road, Minhang District, Shanghai (the old factory area of the former Shanghai Reebo Brewery), after renovation, a stylish and nostalgic "Reebo 1987 Craft Beer" restaurant opened. Walking into the "Reebo 1987" Creative Park, the first thing that catches your eye is the 60-meter-high chimney, which is actually the iconic building of the original Reebo Brewery. During the renovation of the creative park, the large boilers and malt warehouses in these old factories were preserved in their original flavor. As soon as you enter the restaurant, 10 large silver cans about 2 meters high are very conspicuous. These are 10 fermentation tanks used to produce Shanghai Libo craft beer. The restaurant currently offers 4 flavors of craft beer. After tasting it, it tastes pretty good. The overall design of the restaurant reflects a full industrial style and nostalgia. But the other meals provided by the restaurant are not very good, and the price is expensive. I came here just to find the feeling of the past 😃😃.
The "Reebo 1987 Craft Beer Restaurant" opened in Shanghai during the May Day holiday in 2021 is part of the "Reebo 1987" creative park that is yet to be developed. The restaurant was renovated from the old factory building of the original Reebo Brewery, full of industrial style. There are also many varieties of beer. You can basically guarantee that there are more than four original craft beers to drink when you arrive at the store. I personally think that "Ale of Innocence" is the most suitable. The menu is also great. A cup of 330ml is basically 38 yuan. It's very happy to come here for a drink with three or five close friends. The 60-meter-high tower in the original factory area is still preserved. It can be used as a landmark to find it.
Although I've walked past this place many times, I'd never noticed it was a beer hall. The restaurant has an industrial feel, perfectly fitting for a beer hall. Some of the piping fixtures do look vintage, but the staff said they're replicas. You can enjoy the beer or the meal, and the tasting package is quite popular, offering six different flavors. We ordered a stout and an IPA, which were both quite good.
