可爱的旅途88We went to Luyuan again for a family dinner. Compared with the one on Xinhua Road, the Lujiazui Center store has a more spacious environment, convenient parking, and you can dine for up to 3 hours.
Flower snails are their specialty, and the seasoning is just right, not too salty or too spicy. Tianmu Mountain dried bamboo shoots are quite tender, and the slightly spicy taste makes them more fragrant. I didn't even bother to take pictures of the hot dishes, but I remember that the mutton pot and the loofah stewed with seafood were quite popular.

The service is good, and I think the products are quite regular. The taste is varied, such as the spicy snail meat in pepper sauce, the fragrant beef in stewed fire, and the sweet eight-treasure rice. My favorite is the fried eight-treasure rice, which is fragrant and glutinous with a nutty texture. The signature dish of hand-peeled prawns has a heavy starch, which I personally find a bit greasy. The price is reasonable and you won't be disappointed.
Luyuan MOOSE (Lujiazui Center Store) is located on the ninth floor of Lujiazui L+Mall. Luyuan is a Michelin one-star restaurant serving local cuisine. The restaurant environment is very grand and the dishes are exquisite. It is a good choice for entertaining guests and gatherings.
My second visit to Luyuan was just as delicious as always! A Michelin star restaurant is a real thing, after all. The foie gras and cherry sauce is a must-try, absolutely delicious... But I just learned that their specialty, the boneless Qiandao Lake fish head, needs to be pre-ordered, so I was disappointed I didn't get to try it! But I also recommend a new dish: the vegetable salad in the first picture. I thought it was Chinese cabbage, but it's not. It's a little bitter but refreshing, and paired with a unique sauce I've never had anywhere else.
On a weekend where you can sleep in naturally, head to Deer Park for morning tea. I went with my bestie to check out Deer Park's dim sum lunch menu this weekend. The selection is limited, but the portions are exquisite. Afterward, I felt like I couldn't get enough. As for the steamed dishes, I quite liked the vegetarian siu mai and qian cai ma la gao. The spinach and tofu weren't the egg tofu I'd expected, which was a bit disappointing. The arugula and beef tongue, drizzled with a fresh sauce, were tender and flavorful. The orange walnut prawn balls were a bit small, so sharing between us would inevitably lead to scrambling. The avocado ice cream was topped with avocado puree, blending beautifully with the vanilla ice cream underneath. It was sweet but not cloying, leaving a lingering aftertaste. Finally, the fermented glutinous rice wine was truly full of flavor, and the tangyuan were also really solid.
Compared to the original restaurant, the Luyuan location at L+ Mall offers even better ambiance and service, practically achieving a perfect score! ‼️ The food quality also exceeded expectations, especially dishes like the Kung Pao Shrimp Balls, Steamed Eel with Sauce, and Drunken Chicken. They retain the traditional and classic flavors while also incorporating some subtle changes and innovations that are more in line with current trends. They're absolutely fantastic! However, there are still some minor flaws: For example, the slightly bland fermented glutinous rice dumplings lack the sweet, rich flavor of the fermented glutinous rice. Another example: the seemingly delicate and small handmade shepherd's purse fish balls lacked the umami flavor they should have, completely undermining their appearance. So, I have to deduct a few points. I hope it will be even better next time.
