The restaurant is located in Guohua Plaza, Yangpu District, which is actually quite far from Wujiaochang. The private room is relatively small and a bit crowded. Clean and tidy
[Service]
The waiter has a very good service attitude

I bought a set meal for 10 people on a certain platform. The amount of food is very large, and I feel that there is no problem for 12 people. The unfinished food is packed. After eating this batch of dishes, I feel that the taste is good. I like the cooked and drunk hairy crab the most, which is relatively plump.
The set meal is very cost-effective and highly recommended

Green bean cake and barley tea were served first. The cold dishes of duck in sauce and drunken crab looked good. There was a steamed golden grouper that was very long and tender. I don't know where it was produced. There was also steamed potato with hairy crab, which was very rare. The noodles with scallion oil were a Shanghai specialty. The service attitude was very good, and they would add tea and change the pelvis.
This is the most cost-effective group purchase meal I've had recently. It's enough to eat, and the food is pretty good. I particularly like the honey-glazed yellow croaker, which is a perfect replica of the essence of local cuisine. It's crispy, sweet and fragrant, which is my favorite taste. The eight-year-old Huadiao chicken is also super tender, and my friend can finish it all by himself. Finally, the pumpkin dumplings are stuffed, which is a very satisfying ending to the meal.
I booked their place for a Mid-Autumn Festival dinner for my family. I thought it was quite large, but the place was quite crowded, with only two private rooms. The decor was retro, with old photos hanging on the walls. The reception was very warm, and we were seated and served watermelon and mung bean mooncakes. We bought a group order for 10 people for 1,488 yuan: Cold Dishes: The jellyfish head with aged vinegar was crispy, sour, and salty. The home-cooked salted chicken had a rich, savory flavor. The chilled vegetarian abalone was firm and bouncy. The spicy and sour wood ear mushrooms were smooth, crispy, and salty. The osmanthus smoked pomfret was fried perfectly, fragrant, and crispy. The pumpkin and lily bulbs were soft and sweet. The organic vegetable salad was crispy and refreshing. The roasted matsutake mushrooms were crispy, moist, salty, and sweet. Hot Dishes: The butter-baked lobster looked good, but the lobster meat wasn't firm, tender, or fresh, and the udon noodles were a bit soft and mushy. The beef cheeks were generous in size, but poorly prepared and had a fishy smell that couldn't be masked by the sauce. The flame-roasted mud crab was a large pot, and the rice was infused with the crab's flavor and delicious. The sauce was also quite rich, but the crab meat was crispy and lacked freshness. The steamed chicken with eight-year-old Huadiao wine had a light sauce, lacking a strong wine flavor, and the chicken was dry and brittle, not tender. The yellow croaker with pickled mustard greens and rice cakes, though farmed, was fresh and had a good texture and flavor. The rice cakes with pickled mustard greens and freshness were soft and chewy. The braised pork with American grapes had only three grapes, but the braised pork was crispy, plump, and melt-in-your-mouth. The crab roe and lotus broth dish had a generous amount of roe and a rich, umami flavor, and the lotus broth egg whites were tender. The Nestle Stir-fried King dish, with ginkgo nuts, celery, shrimp, and mullet, was light yet delicious. The seasonal spinach in the broth was crispy and tender. The scallop and bird's nest soup with scallop and loofah was rich and moist, and the bird's nest soup with scallop and loofah was crispy and garnished with melon seeds. Dim Sum: The pumpkin and glutinous rice dumplings had a pumpkin-flavored broth sprinkled with osmanthus, creating a refreshing aroma. The dumplings were soft, glutinous, and sweet with sesame filling. The scallion oil noodles were fragrant and juicy, and the noodles were soft and chewy. I also ordered a pot of Tieguanyin tea for 58 yuan, which was quite fragrant. The overall taste of the dishes was acceptable, but the ingredients were generally not fresh, and the set meal was cheap. The service was friendly and prompt, but the environment was so-so.
A pretty good local restaurant on the second floor of Guohua Plaza. While the mall is called New Wujiaochang, it's nowhere near as popular. Business here is only average. I went there on a summer weekend, and there wasn't a line. Seeing that the group buy, which was under 300 yuan, included several signature dishes, I ordered them without hesitation. The food was actually quite good, suiting a light palate. The portions were generous, too, and at just over 100 yuan per person, it was okay. Since it's a relatively new restaurant, the ambiance and service were pleasant, and everything else was okay.
