sAviOr_07The Hanshe Chinese Restaurant's Select Branch, Ruihong Tiandi Sun Palace, was abysmal. First, the order of service: hot dishes came first, cold dishes last. The waiter said it was crowded that day, so whatever was ready was served first, even though there were plenty of empty seats. Also, shouldn't they have asked customers before serving the hot dishes first, instead of just acting on their own accord?
As for the dishes, the roast duck was incredibly fatty and disgusting. There was so much white fat. It would be more appropriate to call it roast duck fat! The skin and meat were both fatty and incredibly unpalatable! Roast duck is Hanshe's signature dish, and such a signature dish is truly terrible. The salt and pepper duck rack was also fatty, practically all fat. See the pictures!
We also ordered smoked pomfret, stir-fried beef with mushrooms, and Shanghai style scallion oil noodles. All three dishes were a bit salty, but the eight-spice tofu was okay.
The service was also terrible. We were told many empty tables wouldn't be seated, and we had to wait. The waiter said they were reserved for customers who had made reservations three days in advance. Even after we finished eating, many of those tables were still empty.

❤️A perfect choice for both business and family gatherings, Han She Chinese Restaurant is located near Thumb Plaza. As the brand's first store in Shanghai, it has been rooted in the Lianyang community for 17 years, and its quality has long been a trusted favorite among locals. 🍃Ambiance: The restaurant is spacious with plenty of private rooms, perfectly catering to both the sophisticated needs of business banquets and the lively atmosphere of family gatherings. Its proximity to Kerry Centre and exhibition centers further enhances its location advantage. Service💁: The service is attentive and respectful throughout, from seating arrangements to menu introductions. Tea is promptly refilled and plates are changed, and the duck is sliced on-site, creating a wonderful sense of occasion and a great dining experience. Dishes👅: ❤️Han She Premium Fruitwood-Smoked Sturgeon Caviar Roasted Duck: A must-order! The fruitwood-smoked duck skin is crispy and not greasy, and the sturgeon caviar adds a touch of refinement. The cucumber underneath is exceptionally refreshing, creating a rich and layered flavor profile. A standard Peking duck wrap is incredibly satisfying! My clever friend even invented a novel way to eat it: wrapping braised pork in the wrap – and it tastes surprisingly good! ❤️Smoked Salmon and Green Apple Salad Tart: Refreshing and not greasy at all. The savory salmon, the crisp sweetness of the green apple, and the crunch of the soda crackers create a wonderfully complex texture. ❤️Handmade Tangerine Peel Pork Patty Steamed Crab: Incredibly fresh! The tender pork patty is infused with the aroma of tangerine peel, while the crab is full of roe and meat. The savory juices seep into the patty, making every bite incredibly delicious. #FoodFlavors #RomanticDateRestaurant #SummerFoodExploration #AutumnFunPlan #FoodForumRestaurantCheckIn
Having lived in Hongkou for so long, I always come to Hanshe Taiyanggong for birthdays or family gatherings. This time, it's their 17th anniversary! Like and bookmark this post to get a 50%-off coupon for roast duck. If you're lucky, you might even win a whole duck! This deal is a must-take! The setting is elegant and grand, and the private room is beautifully decorated for a birthday party. The walls are covered in balloons and banners with greetings. No filters needed for any photos—the atmosphere is instantly captivating! ✨ ✅ Signature Fruitwood Roasted Duck The duck, roasted over jujube wood, has a glossy red skin. The crispy skin is fragrant with a hint of fruitwood, and the chef slices the duck live, creating a truly ceremonial experience. Wrapping the duck in a duck pancake and adding a side of cucumber and scallions is a satisfying and satisfying experience. Absolutely delicious! ✅ Braised Pork with Abalone The three layers of pork, each layered with fat and lean, are smothered in a rich, red sauce, while the lean meat retains its juiciness! The abalone, soaked in sauce, was chewy and bouncy, bursting with flavor. ✅ Steamed Crab Roe with Hand-made Tangerine Peel and Pork Patties The abundance of crab roe was incredibly tempting, bursting with sweetness. The hand-made pork patties underneath were firm and granular, not at all dry! ✅ Spicy Bullfrog The bullfrogs were generously sized, their skin coated in the fragrant chili pepper. The spiciness was just right, not too pungent. I couldn't resist eating several. ✅ Qiandao Lake Fish Head with Large Youtiao The fish head was stewed to a fragrant aroma. The waiter cut the golden youtiao and placed it in the dish. After soaking up the broth, I took a bite and it was incredibly delicious. 🏠 Hanshe Chinese Restaurant (Ruihong Tiandi Taiyanggong Branch) 📍Rooms L6-14 & L6-15A, 6th Floor, Ruihong Tiandi Taiyanggong, 181 Ruihong Road

💖Hanshe's new branch is a must-try. As a restaurant listed by both Michelin and Black Pearl, it offers excellent value for money, so I've taken my parents there several times. Previously, we've been to the 889 and Nanfengcheng branches more often. We also tried Hanshe Xiaoya when we were in Hangzhou. 🍀This time, my parents and I went to the Sun Palace branch. The overall decor is very stylish. I especially loved the flowers at the entrance, the greenery inside the restaurant, and the delicate yellow flowers on the tables. 🍽Dishes: Besides the roast duck, I've always enjoyed their local dishes, but this time I also ordered a few Sichuan dishes and some new specialties! ✅|Hanshe Fruitwood Roast Duck A must-try signature dish, it's considered one of the best roast ducks in Shanghai. Enjoy two flavors of the duck: crispy skin or with skin and meat. The warm flatbread is filled with sauce, sugar, scallions, and shredded cucumber. Even wrapped in the duck skin, it's still incredibly delicious! The salt and pepper duck rack is also quite fragrant; it's truly a great way to save money! The duck bone soup is also highly recommended. ✅| Magnolia Vegetable with Toona Sinensis and Tofu This dish is beautifully presented. The combination of toona sinensis and tofu is truly unique. If you weren't told, you'd have never guessed it was toona sinensis and tofu. ✅ Beef Rolls with Thai Mint Sauce This is a very refreshing cold dish, with the uniquely Thai flavor of sour and spicy. The addition of mint gives the beef a very refreshing taste! ✅ Shancheng Mouth-Watering Chicken: Although it's brimming with red oil, it's not overly spicy, and the chicken is very tender. For those who prefer a lighter flavor, try Mouth-Watering Chicken! ✅ Sweet and Sour Pork with Seasonal Fruit: What makes their sweet and sour pork unique is that they use mango and pomegranate granules instead of pineapple! The sweet and sour pork isn't overly floury and is quite delicious! I felt incredibly happy after finishing it! 🏠 Hanshe Chinese Restaurant (Ruihong Tiandi Taiyanggong Branch) 📍6th Floor, Ruihong Tiandi Taiyanggong, 181 Ruihong Road #EatHappiness #FoodFestival #CheckOutInternet-famousRestaurants #CheckOutBig-nameRestaurants #BlackPearlRestaurant
