I am a little obsessed with tea ceremony aesthetics recently [snickering]
“Why is Buddhism classified in the religion category and Taoism in the history category?”
“Maybe it is God’s will!”

I went to the tea'stone Shanghai Xintiandi store. I used to have to wait in line, but when I arrived during afternoon tea, there was no line and plenty of empty seats. It was quite noisy, not as quiet as other tea places. I ordered a tea set for two, choosing aged white tea and Imperial Osmanthus Tea. If you order it cold, there's a large ice ball in the cup. The Imperial Osmanthus Tea tasted slightly better, but the tea's aroma and flavor were lacking. The dessert, "One Acre of Land," consisted of xiaolongbao (a steamed bun) and a piece of tofu. The dessert was just average. The tea description said it uses modern intelligent tea extraction technology, brewing tea over a Han and Tang Dynasty charcoal fire, using a Song Dynasty teacup method, brewing tea in a Ming Dynasty purple clay teapot, and using a Qing Dynasty gaiwan. With all the hype, is it really that effective? They also sell tea in-store, starting at 50 grams, and the prices are higher than elsewhere.
Despite the persistently hot, scorching temperatures, even hotter than the temperatures are the numerous new and popular stores that have opened, like this one! ⬇️ 📍 Name: Tea’Stone (Xintiandi Branch) Address: 1/F, Xintiandi Xinli, 380 Huangpi South Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai Hours: 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM Self-proclaimed as a "light museum of tea," the legendary Starbucks of the tea world, lauded with numerous design awards, and a prestigious Xintiandi landmark—these dazzling titles have all generated high anticipation for Tea’Stone's debut in Shanghai. So, what's the actual experience like there? ❓ 💣 Only the window-facing areas, used as a selling point, are aesthetically pleasing. The rest of the space feels oppressive and cramped. 💣 The staff's attitude and professionalism are subpar, with numerous minor and major issues constantly occurring. 💣 The tea drinks are average quality, but with a price range of 49r-168r, they're really not worth the money. 💣 The cute-looking teas were all factory-frozen, and I even tasted some ice shards that hadn't been fully thawed. 💣 It's really noisy! It seems like a design issue; all the noise is just combined. Suffice to say, there's no shortage of new Chinese-style tea shops in Shanghai for the same price, and both the service and the ambiance are far superior to Tea'Stone's.
This is the first time I've seen such a beautiful takeout tea bottle. Tea'Stone always captures the beauty of China to its fullest. I've tried their New Chinese style tea before, and this takeout mountain and river bottle allows me to enjoy a cup of delicious tea anytime, anywhere. The bottle, shaped like rolling hills, feels wonderful to hold. The borosilicate glass bottle is perfect for both hot and cold teas, and the cap doubles as a small teacup – convenient and practical. I chose the specially blended iced tea, Hedinghong. The tea has a beautiful amber color. As soon as I unscrewed the lid, I was greeted by a rich aroma. The fragrance of jasmine, osmanthus, and sweet potato blended together, creating a sweet and lingering experience. Alisa and Mohong Rose are also worth trying. Mohong Rose is perfect for hot drinks, while Aliisa is perfect for iced drinks. Experience a different kind of elegance. #BringTeaWithYourTreasure tea’stone (Xintiandi Branch) Address: 1st Floor, Xinli, Xintiandi, 380 Huangpi South Road #I’m a Flower Appreciation Connoisseur
