The sound of a guqin and the clapping of incense seals, a table overflowing with autumn fruits, the fragrance of agarwood permeates the table, accompanied by the ripples of "peony" in the soup. It's undeniable that the ancients were more elaborate in their crab-eating ceremonies than we are today. A performance of incense seals, using tea as a medium, draws everyone into the artistic conception of exploring the autumn mountains. 🦀The appetizer, crab jelly, made from the essence of half-cooked drunken crab, is a vibrant and appetizing wine aroma, and along with the other four dishes, it opens the "Five Blessings" feast. ⭐The soups captivate the audience. Using water as paper and a kitchen knife as a brush, the intangible cultural heritage white jade peony requires 108 cuts to bring it to life, a testament to the exceptional skill of Huaiyang knifemen. 🦀The roe of raw crab, hand-peeled river shrimp, and chicken head rice dance together, perfectly embodying the autumnal culinary tradition of nourishing the lungs. 🦀The steamed female hairy crab is in season, its roe plump and golden, requiring no embellishment with vinegar to enhance its freshness. The crab meat exudes a natural sweetness, paired with 20-year-old rice wine, a delightful delight. 🦀🐟The highlight of the meal was the freshly opened crab roe and yellow croaker dumplings. The crab roe is freshly made daily, untouched by frost, and the black pork is a delicious side dish. This trifecta of deliciousness made me regret not ordering a bowl of white rice to top it off. 🕊️The musician's rendition of "Drunkenness" was a free and unrestrained delight, just as the pigeon legs arrived, their saltwater-smoked flavor filling the room with a fragrant aroma. 🍮The closing dessert was a layered crab roe and black pork pastry, and a popping black tea pudding. The aroma of tea lingered, the smoke like a pen writing invisible lines of poetry in the air, revealing that the gentle breeze of early autumn was hidden within this mountain house. #RomanticDateRestaurant #LocalFood #EnjoyASeafoodFeast
Longyin Shanfang is a high-end restaurant brand specializing in modern Huaiyang cuisine. Its Suhewan MixC branch is located in a Shanghai-style Shikumen-style villa in Shenyuli. This was my second visit. The first time was in the main hall, and this time in a private room. The ambiance was stunning, elegant and stylish. The restaurant even thoughtfully arranged birthday decorations, which perfectly complemented the atmosphere. The dedicated service was also very attentive. Four of our six-person meal shared a meal. The steamed fresh maple crab with egg whites was tender and sweet; the steamed two-toned sea bass was tender and flavorful, with two different pepper flavors. The signature dishes, such as the fried eel paste wrap and the Huaiyang lychee shrimp balls, were authentic, and the Biluochun handmade yogurt was a perfect finishing touch. Every dish was excellent. A small regret: the wrong cake ribbons were given for takeout, and the paper bag containing my own wine was broken, which dampened my mood a bit. But overall, the ambiance, service, and food are worth returning for. #High-end Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine #Eat to feel happy #Where to go for a Qixi Festival date #Romantic date restaurant
Longyin Mountain House is said to have been founded with the brand story of "bringing Jiangnan cuisine beyond the Jiangnan region," embodying the refinement of Huaiyang cuisine and the artistic conception of Jiangnan. I'm going there again tomorrow, so I quickly reviewed it today. Entering the old villa, the wooden structure is beautifully decorated. The lobby is decorated with lotus flowers and mist, creating an ethereal atmosphere. Even the tableware exudes a refined Chinese aesthetic, creating a sense of ceremony. 🌻 Braised Lion's Head in Clear Water: The dish is smooth and tender, with a slightly oily broth, creating a fresh and sweet flavor. 🌻 The Fried Eel Paste Wrap: The sauce is rich and fragrant, the eel is silky and tender, and the wrapping also cuts through the greasiness, adding a touch of flavor. 🌻 The Emerald Luffa and Chicken Head Rice: The thickened sauce is refreshing and sweet, and the chicken head rice wrapped in it is incredibly filling. Amid the bustle of Suhe Bay, Longyin Mountain House stands out, offering a poetic Jiangnan feel, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I previously booked a private room for a friend's birthday, and the decor is said to be stunning. I'm already looking forward to it. #RomanticDateRestaurant #EatHappiness #MichelinRestaurant
Longyin Shanfang (Suhewan MixC) is located in Building 4, Shenyuli, No. 100, Fujian North Road. Must-Try Dishes and Hidden Highlights - Edelweiss Moon-Watching: Thin tofu shreds resemble blooming edelweiss flowers, paired with a golden broth and pigeon egg, a masterpiece of skill and umami. - Tianmu Lake Fish Head Fushouquan: Organic fat fish head is braised with fish maw and sea cucumber in a rich broth, allowing the ingredients to intertwine and embody the essence of Huaiyang cuisine's freshness. - Longyin White Jade Peony: A tofu peony carved on site is incorporated into the soup, its petals undulating with the broth, a true work of art on the tip of your tongue. - Ten-Year-Old Drunken Lobster with Huadiao Wine: The shrimp is tender and flavorful, and the sweet, sour, and slightly spicy sauce blends beautifully with the aroma of Huadiao wine, transforming the traditional drunken shrimp experience. Environment and Service Details The restaurant features a neo-Chinese design. The first-floor lobby features natural light and decorative lighting, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Private rooms on the second floor can be customized for business banquets or art appreciation events. The service team, centered around an "Oriental Aesthetics Service System," meticulously manages every detail, from inquiring about dining purposes upon reservation to providing on-site incense and tea ceremony experiences. Parking in the mall's underground parking lot is available with points deductible (15 yuan/hour). - Average Cost: A la carte orders are approximately 600 yuan per person. A recent 498 yuan set menu for three (including baked yellow croaker in a clay pot, lychee-crusted shrimp balls, and more) offers excellent value.
