猩猩知倪心Many years ago, Kani Okadaya was the ceiling of eating crabs in Japanese cuisine, but it seems that this ceiling has been broken for many years.
Then my colleague hosted lunch, so I happily chose this restaurant that I hadn't tried for a long time. There is no reservation for this restaurant, and there are seats even if you go in temporarily. It's a pity that if there are many of us, there are no tatami seats here, and it's a bit cramped to put clothes.
It's still a solid single-person set meal, with some à la carte side dishes, exquisite portions, and average taste, but the crab meat tastes a bit dry.
It's okay to try it occasionally, but the grade and taste are no longer on the recommendation list.

After all, it is a specialty store for eating crabs. The crabs are so delicious at the door that you can't help but rush into the sea to eat a meal. The best thing is the live crab set meal. The part that the kids like most is catching crabs.......
Okadaya, a high-end restaurant, costs NT$1,000 for two people to eat, so NT$500 per person is not low. The king crab is very good, the seafood is very fresh, and the service is also very good. After eating, I can only describe it as delicious.
To celebrate the New Year, I visited Okadaya at Crab House for their snow crab hot pot. Although the crab was frozen, it still tasted incredibly fresh and tender. The shells were pre-cooked, making it easy to eat. Two crab legs were baked in slate butter, which was also delicious. After the snow crab, I also had rice porridge, but it was a bit too salty. The sashimi selection at this restaurant was also delicious, with the sea urchin, salmon, and botan shrimp all very fresh.
Kani no Okadaya is a renowned Japanese restaurant in Japan, and their signature dish is their king crab. The crab is incredibly plump, sweet, tender, and delicious. Their other dishes, such as the wagyu beef, are also incredibly tender and flavorful. This is truly top-notch Japanese cuisine, highly recommended.
Crab Okadaya (Greenland Colorful City Branch) Crab Okadaya is opening more and more branches now. Having tried the two locations at Hongyi Plaza and Daning International Plaza, I decided to try Crab Okadaya at Greenland Colorful City. My lunch was a solo eel rice meal. For a simple meal, this single meal was definitely quite filling. [Specialty Crab Meat Steamed Egg] Mini Okadaya Crab Salad Single Sashimi Mini Eel Rice Snow Crab Cream Croquette Vanilla Chocolate Combo Ice Cream I thought the portions would be small, but I ended up stuffing myself. The mini eel rice was plump but not greasy, and the sauce was sweet and delicious. It was delicious mixed with rice. I devoured it all in one sitting. The ice cream combo was also rich and creamy, soft and smooth. [Color] [Color] A truly excellent value for money, a simple meal that left me completely satisfied.
Dianping (a Chinese review platform) is offering a VIP perk: a single-serving set meal of eel rice at Okada-ya. The set meal is quite substantial! Signature Crab Meat Steamed Egg: Steamed with crab meat, small seafood, and egg; fresh and smooth, though a little fishy at first bite. Mini Snow Crab Salad: Delicate and fresh crab meat. Sashimi Platter for One: Salmon with good texture, scallops not firm enough. Snow Crab Cream Croquette: The sauce completely overpowers the creamy snow crab flavor inside. Mini Eel Rice: Soft rice soaked in eel sauce, my favorite. The eel is quite small, a bit... Hokkaido Soft Serve Ice Cream: Available in vanilla, chocolate, and a mix; I chose vanilla, and it was delicious.
What's perfect for winter? Hot pot! And what else? Crab hot pot! A super lively king crab, practically jumping around when it was scooped out. The simple kelp broth perfectly complemented the crab meat's sweetness. Even after cooking for a long time, the meat was firm and springy. Paired with the unique yuzu vinegar, it was simply irresistible! The crab sashimi had a jelly-like texture, smooth and refreshing. If you don't want it raw, you can also cook it in the broth! The steamed crab legs were juicy and had a sweet aftertaste, just right. The grilled crab legs were even more fragrant. In short, live crab is just incredibly delicious!!! The steamed egg in the crab shell was incredibly tender, and the crab roe was huge—one was enough to fill you up [crying emoji]. The crab roe was used to make rice porridge in the hot pot at the end. Eaten hot, it was incredibly delicious. The crème brûlée, after being grilled, was absolutely gorgeous, reminding me of pearls falling onto a jade plate~
