Shake Shack(静安嘉里中心店)

I have never eaten Shake Shack in Shanghai. I remember the first time I ate there in Hong Kong, it was amazing. I ate there once in Seoul and Osaka, and they all tasted good. I came to Shanghai with great expectations. First of all, the decoration of the store is not as good as other places. It is too ordinary, just like a general fast food restaurant, and it does not feel higher than a level. Secondly, although the plate packaging is the same, I don’t know why, when I took it up, I felt that it was a bit cheap and worthless. I remember that the ones I ate before were all very full. The hamburger here is a bit flat and the layout is also very rough. The arugula has fallen out. Anyway, it doesn’t feel good. Finally, the taste, I ordered the limited-time black truffle beef burger and fries. Except for the greasy onion rings, the other tastes are still good. I can only say that fortunately the taste is not too different, otherwise it would be really unpleasant.

My friends all like their burgers. I went there twice this time. The single beef burger is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The cheese fries are also worth mentioning. The wavy shape tastes more flavorful. The high price is justified.

I tried the signature beef burger, available in single and double layers. I found the single layer easier to eat, and it turned out to be quite substantial, with layers of vegetables, cheese, and beef. The texture was incredibly rich, with the refreshing flavor of the vegetables, the salty aroma of the cheese, and the rich, meaty flavor of the beef. It was quite satisfying and delicious! The original wavy fries looked interesting and went perfectly with ketchup, but I personally prefer the traditional fries because the wavy fries sacrificed their softness and were more crunchy. It's a matter of personal taste. The limited edition Sakura soft drink. Why did I order this? I was drawn to the color and it was a limited edition, so I couldn't resist. It turns out I couldn't handle the acidity and sweetness either. It's both sour and sweet. Normally, sweet drinks reduce the acidity, but this one is amazing, with both sour and sweet, a perfect balance. If you're interested, give it a try; I didn't finish it. Their burgers are really good. I'll try their other options next time. Highly recommended!

Since it's a Christmas special, the cream is embellished with colorful sugar granules. Tastewise, it's a bit too sweet. It seems you can't choose the sweetness level. Personally, I find it too sweet. One sip is enough to fill you up. The takeout box is very nice and has a nice texture. If you need condiments, ketchup, etc., you can grab them yourself, which is very convenient. Service: The young ladies here are very nice. If they see that you are inconvenient, they will come to help you immediately.

I finally had Shake, but it wasn't as delicious as I'd imagined, and the prices were quite steep. Although there was a line at Kerry Center, it only took about 5 minutes, and the ordering process was quite quick. I ordered the meatless cheese and mushroom burger for 63 yuan. It wasn't large, but the filling was quite generous. It turned out the cheese and mushrooms were coated in flour and fried, but they were a bit over-fried, making them a bit tough. I also ordered cheese fries, which I really don't recommend. The sauce was different, so it cost 10 yuan more. Actually, fries are best dipped in ketchup. The portion was huge, and I still had more than half left. There were a lot of foreigners, which is good. Foreigners like to join in the fun. There's a designated area at the entrance to store luggage, and the service is quite attentive.
