My best friend dragged me to this place this weekend, and the French atmosphere was just perfect! The strawberry matcha ice cream parfait was so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it. 🌠A while ago, I went to this favorite restaurant, Piaoliangfan, with friends for a small get-together. The first floor was packed at lunchtime, but luckily there were still seats available on the second floor, so we opted for a window seat. After scanning the QR code to place our order, the food arrived reasonably quickly. ✨Crab Croquette with Milk Sauce: When it first arrived, it was incredibly hot and crispy, almost bursting with juice. Inside, it seemed to be a creamy, cheesy mashed potato with some crab meat mixed in—a nice surprise. ✨Roasted Mixed Vegetables with Mediterranean Sauce: This dish was actually served last, but we unanimously agreed it was the MVP of the meal. The roasted vegetables—squash, eggplant, bell peppers, and more—were seasoned with sea salt and olive oil, making the sauce fragrant and delicious. 😋 ✨Seared Sea Bass with Coconut Curry: A bit of an odd combination. The rich coconut milk curry seems more suited to red meat than seafood, but the creamy mashed potatoes still complement the coconut curry quite well. The sea bass was decent, but the flavor was definitely average. ✨Korean Kimchi Beef and Bacon Pasta: This dish is truly amazing. I immediately wanted to try it. However, I felt the Korean kimchi flavor was more suited to rice and instant noodles, and the pasta was a bit too eggy. Anyway, I still enjoyed it. There was a generous amount of beef, bacon, bibimbap seaweed, kimchi, and mushrooms, making it quite rich. If you don't mind the kimchi flavor, you should definitely give it a try. ✨Iced Latte: The coffee had a strong fermented flavor, but it was still quite bitter overall. I was quite surprised to find coffee like this in a restaurant. & The overall performance was quite surprising, even though I had already assumed it would be just good-looking but not very good.
