They are just the right amount of flavor, and even if there is some sweetness, it is just to bring out the freshness.

[Environment] The private room we booked was quiet. But there is a base charge! [Taste] Thumb-shaped pan-fried buns 👍 must order, rice cake lobster - rice cake is very tasty and lobster meat is very tender 😋 sauce duck is very Shanghai flavor, black pepper steak is soft and tender and very delicious, bamboo fish is average, eel shreds and yellow croaker spring rolls did not surprise me and tasted average. [Service] The staff service is very good 👍
To be honest, the dishes of old brands are not very tasty, but this Shanghainese restaurant is surprisingly innovative and very good. I like the orange crab paste here, because eating too much crab roe will make you feel greasy, but mixing it with oranges will make you feel less greasy. It is a very creative dish. There is also new vinegar sauce, and the celery is refreshing and tasty. There is also a stone pot tofu pot, which is very delicious. Etc. All the dishes are in line with the taste of Shanghainese. Secondly, the service attitude is also very good. Overall, it is still very good.
We went to Shanghai Renjia in the evening and made reservations in advance! Shanghai Renjia looked high-end online, but I was a little worried that the price would be outrageous! I went there and looked at the menu. It was good value for money! The local specialties and signature dishes came up quickly! I was really lucky to have such a satisfying meal in Shanghai! If I come to Shanghai again in the future, I will go to Shanghai Renjia!
As an old Shanghainese restaurant that I have visited several times in the past seven or eight years, the dishes have always maintained a good taste, not amazing, but not bad either. It is always so standard that people can neither love it nor hate it. The Shanghai-style smoked fish, pork knuckle and shredded golden pumpkin are more popular. People come here mainly for dinners with old friends, company dinners and family dinners.
We booked a private room for a family gathering. The service was excellent throughout, and the ambiance was naturally nice. The dishes were generally typical of the local cuisine, but the most memorable ones were the crab stir-fried rice cakes, braised pork, lumpfish, matsutake soup, and short ribs. The steak was quite tender, and the sauce was flavorful. The crab stir-fried rice cakes were incredibly fresh, and the crabs were quite large this season, so the meat was plentiful. The braised pork was truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The lumpfish was boneless and so fresh it made my eyebrows drop. The matsutake chicken soup had so many matsutake mushrooms in one bowl, it was quite worth it.
