The beef fried with kale tastes average. I feel that the beef is a bit old. There are a lot of leftovers for two people and three dishes. The portion is really big. Finally, the staple food, I was served two bowls of recommended noodle soup, which is also full. I didn’t finish a bowl. The noodles tasted lighter. Overall, the price-performance ratio is good. 133 yuan is still quite affordable, but you must pay attention to the portion and don’t waste it!

When I was in Shantou, I stayed in the old city. I took a taxi from my hotel to Chenghai to eat the internet-famous goose meat. It was over 20 kilometers, and the driver thought I was crazy. The tofu puffs here are different from the ones we have in Singapore; they're just drizzled with the marinade, not cooked in it. I was really looking forward to the goose liver; it was so pink and tender, and so delicious. I loved the light sweetness of the olive soup. I never thought green olives could be used in soup. It felt so good in my throat. I must buy some olives to make soup back home. My husband loved the stir-fried kale and devoured the entire dish. The rice, drizzled with the savory and fragrant marinade, was delicious. After a satisfying meal, we took a taxi back to Shantou. [grin][grin] It was a truly unforgettable meal.
