The Atang Salty Congee in Tainan is highly recommended. It takes 20 minutes to walk from Chihkan Tower. The shop is not small, but the salty congee is not as delicious as people say. It has a strong fishy smell and the fried dough sticks are dry, which is far from what I expected.
