白衣丽人Seven years ago, I first went to Wenchang Qinglan Wharf to buy seafood and had it processed by his shop. Later, I went to several other shops, but in the end, I still kept his shop. The year before last, with the reconstruction of Qinglan Wharf, all the seafood processing shops on the wharf moved to Gaolong Bay. There are a row of seafood processing shops, and the craftsmanship is still different. Everyone goes to taste it.

The environment here is good, the place is big enough, the boss lady is friendly, and it is the first choice for family and friends gatherings when living in Wenchang.
We went to Zhoushan for the weekend and stopped by the seafood market to buy some fresh seafood to have cooked. We asked some vendors in the market, and they recommended this Wenzhou seafood restaurant (located in the first alley to the right after turning right at the entrance of Donghe Market). The restaurant and kitchen were exceptionally clean and hygienic; the owner even allowed me to go in and take some photos (p7-8), which made me feel very reassured. 🦀We bought red-roe crabs, snails, and shellfish at the market ourselves. Red-roe crabs were 65 RMB/jin (the processing shop owner said we only bought half-roe crabs; full-roe crabs would cost 140 RMB or more). ❗️Remember! The higher prices inside the market are for a reason. Don't be tempted to buy cheaper crabs outside the market; the crabs sold by vendors outside are all white crabs! The crabs didn't have any roe, so the price was very cheap. 🏠Wenzhou Seafood Processing Shop (processing fees are clearly marked). I forgot to take a picture. Steamed/Blanched: 10 yuan/jin Scallion Oil: 15 yuan/jin (Highly recommend scallion oil for crabs! P3 is incredibly delicious and fragrant!) 🐟We also ordered braised ribbonfish (P4). The ribbonfish was really plump, tender, and fresh—absolutely delicious! It was cooked with their homemade cooking wine. The owner's in-laws were visiting today, so they brought a whole box of ribbonfish—fresh from the fishing boats that morning. They charged us the cost price and only charged a processing fee. 👍 My mom immediately bought two more to take home for my dad to try. The owner also shared their homemade cooking wine, saying that you shouldn't add water when cooking ribbonfish, just add this cooking wine and it will make it delicious! (P5-6) I've put the kitchen photos at the end. Anyone who's been to a restaurant kitchen knows the level of cleanliness this place has after 8 years of operation.
