I haven't eaten here for many years. The style after the renovation is indeed much more fashionable than before. I arrived at about dinner time in the evening. The place was already full. The popularity has not changed much in all these years. It mainly serves Hubei cuisine. The way to order is to look at the dishes and choose them. I looked around and saw that there are about 50 or 60 dishes to choose from. All of them are freshly fried and cooked. There is no so-called pre-prepared dishes. The wide noodles stewed with beef brisket are very solid. The beef brisket is very large and stewed very well. The wide noodles melt in the mouth. The peppers in the roasted pepper yellow heart preserved eggs are not very spicy, and the preserved eggs are not so monotonous. The bacon bean shreds are not the kind of dry bean shreds. As a staple food, they are very filling. The mother's three fresh flavors have meat cakes, egg dumplings and bacon, which feels full of farm flavor.

Miaoli Road is the main store, which has two floors. It is much larger than the Tianjin Road store I have been to before, and the environment is also better. Their signature dish is beef tendon, but I still didn't dare to order it this time, fearing that I couldn't chew the beef tendon or it didn't suit my taste. The two of us ordered two dishes here, Lao Ma's chili fried pork for 38 yuan and wide noodles stewed beef brisket for 58 yuan. The table fee is 3 yuan for 2 people, a total of 99 yuan. Lao Ma's chili fried pork is a home-cooked side dish, and I still like it very much. The beef brisket in the wide noodles is tender, with bones, meat and tendons, and it is chewy and delicious. The wide noodles are edible, and in the end there are some leftovers because I didn’t finish the noodles.

It is quite close to Miaoli Road MRT Station. The two floors are quite large. You can order dishes by looking at the pictures at the front desk. The beef tendon contains kidney beans and winter melon. It is quite rich and chewy.

This Lao Ma Shao Restaurant is close to my home. Sometimes when we don't want to cook at home, we come here to eat, just like our canteen. It was renovated and reopened in August this year, and the dishes have changed a lot. Many new dishes have been added. I don't think they are as good as before, but overall they are still good. The price-performance ratio is very high in today's market. Large quantity and affordable, a good place for residents to dine.

Today, I celebrated the Little New Year and had a New Year dinner with my mother's family. Today's time was a bit rushed, so it didn't feel very good, but the dishes were still quite rich. This restaurant is a bit small and cramped. Today's vermicelli shell is so big.

I've been eating at this restaurant since I was a child; it's practically our family's canteen. The steamed pork with rice flour, lotus root balls, squirrel fish, duck stew, and braised skinned fish with stinky gluten are all delicious. It was renovated in July and has become even more beautiful.
