A group of like-minded friends and I planned a weekend trip to the city, choosing Xinxiang. With two Xinxiang friends guiding us, we ate from day to night, from starving to stuffed.
To summarize, here are some tips for those planning a trip to Xinxiang.
(No fancy food, just everyday favorites from Xinxiang friends.)
Ro Xiaosheng Spicy Noodles 5: A friend has been eating these spicy noodles for over a decade. They have a sweet, sour, and spicy flavor. I personally think they&#39;re just okay. 90 (It&#39;s located outside the residential complex, and parking is difficult on a small road.)
2 Dongdong Malatang Guo

: It&#39;s just maocai, but with a sweet, salty, and spicy twist.
3 Laodong Road No. 5 Rice Noodles (diagonally across from Dongdong Malatang): I also had Laodong Road No. 5 when I was in school in Jiaozuo. The taste was similar, but the cold version was more sweet and sour.

Xiangyang New Village Wuming Paopi &amp; Fried Skewers: This was my first time trying skewers cooked in a small lunch box. It was quite fresh, but I can&#39;t say enough about the taste. Their fried skewers were pretty good, and there&#39;s a place right next door that makes honey-flavored snow cheese that&#39;s also good (it really does smell like honey).

Wagyu Ji Yanjin Fire Bread: I knew Yanjin Fire Bread was famous before I came to Xinxiang, and this one was indeed good (make sure to eat it hot, without any sauce). I drove home feeling full. We had a full day of eating, and we even stopped by the famous Pang Dong Lai to eat and work off some of the food. There were some good, some just okay, and some not so good.
