We lined up early in the morning and waited for almost an hour. It was ok for the three of us. The price was acceptable, nearly 300 yuan. The green pepper noodles and dried shredded vegetables were quite good. The crab roe buns were not good, 22 yuan each, not worth it. The shrimp stewed noodles were not good either. Others were ok!

I finally got a chance to queue up at the Garden Teahouse. Every time I went there the line was always so long that I eventually had to give up. This time I finally got a chance, and the taste was still very good, but as a Yangzhou morning tea, it wasn't much different from other morning teas!

I have known for a long time that Yangzhou snacks are very famous and that you have to queue up if you want to eat them. After arriving, I found the most famous Garden Teahouse, and as expected, there was a long queue. But fortunately, the store has a rule that you have to queue up for a la carte orders, but you don’t have to queue up for set meals.

I especially recommend this place, because we all know Yechun Tea House, Fuchun Tea House, and Gonghechun Tea House when we come to Yangzhou, but few know this place. There are many people from Yangzhou here, and the price is not expensive. The crab roe bun is 48 yuan per tray. You can order a cup of tea or soy milk, and there are many kidney soups, pork, etc.

The Garden Teahouse should be a latecomer in Yangzhou morning tea. It is located on Xingcheng West Road in Yangzhou. I ordered the famous small hot dried shredded vegetables, kidney soup and five-piece buns. The kidney soup was served first, with a little coriander and a decent amount of pork kidneys. It was smooth and refreshing in the mouth, and the soup was a little salty. I had never seen hot dried shredded vegetables before. It was my first time eating it. The ingredients were quite exquisite. There was dried shrimp on the top, and then a layer of shredded ginger, and below the shredded ginger was chopped mustard tuber, and then coriander. There were also a few crushed peanuts under the coriander. The overall taste was quite fresh and salty. The five-piece buns had very good ingredients, including diced ginseng, diced chicken, diced bamboo shoots and diced meat. I didn't taste the remaining one. The overall taste was not bad, but the price was a bit expensive. Friends who come to Yangzhou for the first time can come and taste the Yangzhou morning tea.

Yangzhou morning tea is also very famous. The old brand was Fuchun Tea House. Maybe there are too many tourists and the locals are gradually dwindling. I asked around and found out that now the locals mostly go to the Garden Tea House, which is right next to the hotel, so I lined up for morning tea early in the morning. The minimum number of people in the private room is four or more, and the price is calculated based on the price per person. This time I ordered the standard price of 80 yuan per person. There were too many snacks, side dishes, and soups. They were delicious and I couldn't finish them. In the end, I packed it up and bought two gift boxes of steamed buns.

The taste is OK, but there are too many people. I had to wait for 2 hours for a meal. I was already hungry, so I didn't eat much. I took a photo of the prices for everyone to understand the current prices. There are too many people, so go early if you want to eat. Parking is convenient around, and there are no traffic police tickets.

The food is delicious, and it's worth a special trip for those from out of town. This teahouse isn't as famous as Yechun or Fuchun, but it offers a wider selection of dishes, and the prices are more attractive than those at Yechun and Fuchun, so it's relatively popular with locals. Food lovers should get up early; the lines get really long after 7:00 PM.
