冰之炙点The location is easy to find, but you can't park on the roadside. We parked the car in the mall next to it and can eat without worry. Dingding cake seems to be a layer of rice flour, a layer of brown sugar, and steamed layer by layer. It's all freshly made. The grandfather who makes Dingding cake is also very nice. The food is also delicious. It's a local specialty. Try it.

I came across this street by chance while traveling. It is the most conscientious snack street I have ever encountered. There are many locals. I guess this is why it is rarely mentioned in travel guides. I highly recommend it. It has a wide variety of dishes and is affordable. Many dishes are only 5 yuan each. I recommend trying Yichang's local drunken shrimp (3.5 yuan) and radish dumplings (5 yuan).
A famous local snack street, the freshly fried radish dumplings, potato skins, cold shrimps, and ice jelly are all delicious😋
I have seen and enjoyed the Three Gorges Dam, Three Gorges Family, Qingjiang Gallery, and Gezhouba Dam in Yichang. I will be going home the next day, so I will go to the night market. I walked from Shuiyue City through Dongshan Tunnel to Yiling Square. I walked one street further and arrived at the Railway Dam Snack Street. It is 22:30 and it is still very lively. There are many stalls, beautiful women, and diners. It is bustling and has a unique flavor. It is also a tourist attraction. It is worth a visit.
G348 Highway—Binjiang Park—Ermalu—Railway Dam Snack Street: A special forces-themed road trip. Yichang doesn't restrict out-of-town license plates; you can drive anywhere without worry. However, you need a vehicle permit to cross the Three Gorges Dam. We got ours on-site with our vehicle registration and driver's license—it was super fast. The road has many curves, so drive carefully. 1️⃣ Stop: Tingfeng Valley. You can park along the roadside; there's a designated viewing platform for taking photos. It's a great spot for photos. 2️⃣ Stop: Cypress Pavilion. You can stop for photos, but it's not highly recommended. However, since they're all on the same road, you can stop briefly if you're not in a rush. 3️⃣ Stop: Shanwaishan. High mountains and distant views—breathtaking. 4️⃣ Stop: Mingyue Terrace. The Three Gorges backdrop and the circular openwork backdrop are both here. Station 5️⃣: Xiling Gorge 0.618 Service Area. It's okay for a stroll, nothing special. 🤫 There's a public restroom here. Station 6️⃣: Liantuopan Service Area. There's a photo spot and you can have lunch here. Fried noodles and tomato and egg rice bowls are reasonably priced and taste okay. Don't bother with the cold noodles; they're terrible. Station 7️⃣: Three Gorges Dam Panoramic Viewing Platform. It's quite far from the dam, so you can only see it from a distance. Parking inside costs 20 RMB, which isn't worth it. It's similar to the view of the dam you see while driving by, so it's not worth the money. Station 8️⃣: Little Dog Hill 🐶. It's visually striking; from the side, it looks exactly like a dog's head. Station 9️⃣: Binjiang Park. It's just a park, and parking is free. I heard the night view is beautiful, but we didn't get to see it. Stop 10: Er Ma Lu (Second Road). We parked at Binjiang Park, just a short walk from Er Ma Lu. I don't recommend this place; besides the Manyilou restaurant, there's nothing much to see. Locals say there's nothing left to do on Er Ma Lu. Stop 11: Jiefang Street. There's a small food street there. A recommended spot is a late-night steamed bun stall; they only open at night, and the filling is really generous, and the taste is quite good. Stop 12: Tieba Road Food Street. There are many food options, but nothing particularly special. You can find almost the same things at other food streets. The radish dumplings, which were a bit of a disappointment, were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside—not good. I don't know if it was just the one we ate at that particular stall, or if they're all like that. The Dingding Gao (a type of steamed cake) wasn't great either; it wasn't even as good as Fa Gao (another type of steamed cake). The Liangxia (a type of cold noodle dish) is only worth trying, but I wouldn't eat it again. Stop 13: Children's Park Ferris Wheel. 29 yuan per person. There's not much of a night view; the only experience is riding the Ferris wheel, not seeing much scenery. A day in the life of a special forces soldier: joyful yet exhausting.
