mandy_014With the arrival of winter vacation, one of the biggest headaches for mothers is where to take their kids. After browsing Guangdong family travel guides on Ctrip, I decided to take Linlin to the incredibly dreamy Yingde Aoyuan Hilton DoubleTree Resort 🏨. The hotel is also nearby, along with the Yingde Chocolate Kingdom and Tea & Chocolate Manor. It's perfect for eating, drinking, staying, playing, and even taking photos! 👏🏻
Upon arrival, we discovered the hotel is situated on a lakefront. Its exterior alone looks like a castle 🏰, a truly dreamy experience. Linlin even said she was a little princess returning to the castle today 👰🏻. After checking in, the front desk lady even gave us two welcome cookies 🍪 and a small luggage tag 🛍—a truly ceremonial touch!
The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, with DoubleTree by Hilton's signature bed 🛌 and Crabtree & Treebo bath products. A free crib is also available for babies under three. The hotel also has a cinema, swimming pool, gym, and various recreational facilities, so you can spend the entire day there without even leaving the hotel. ✔️
A short walk from the hotel's lakeside lawn takes you to the Tea and Chocolate Manor, a charming British-style building. 🕌 After dinner, strolling and taking photos there was such a relaxing experience!
Then we took the hotel shuttle to Aoyuan Chocolate Park, a dreamy fairytale paradise filled with chocolate elements. 🎠 It's filled with candy-colored accents, has a wide variety of rides, and even a unique chocolate factory. 🍫 Linlin was so happy she didn't want to leave!
✔️The breakfast buffet here is truly extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, including various soups, noodles, porridges, yogurt, soy milk, and coffee, catering to all tastes of the family.
✔️We had lunch at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! Classic Cantonese cuisine, featuring both meat and vegetables, each dish has a unique flavor. The crispy-skinned yellow chicken is especially mouth-watering, with a crispy exterior and fragrant, tender meat inside.
✔️ A must-try is the 🎡 Ferris Wheel Afternoon Tea at OPUS All-Day Restaurant! Linlin's eyes lit up at the sight of it. The kids can play and eat at the same time. 🍰 Cakes, 🍩 dim sum, chocolate... everything little ones love is available. The variety is incredible, and the photo ops are fantastic!
After afternoon tea, we headed to Quanlin Water World for a soak. ⛩ Watching Linlin splash around in the seven themed pools, my husband and I soaked in the warm hot springs. We felt completely refreshed, and all the fatigue of the day melted away. 💯
With the Lunar New Year approaching, there are a plethora of festive activities. You can make dumplings with your kids, participate in auspicious lion dances, and create parent-child stickers. Enjoy a fun time with your family amidst the festive atmosphere. 💕

We came to Qingyuan Yingde Aoyuan Chocolate Kingdom. There was nothing to eat around, so we had to eat in the hotel. We chose the hotel buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner with our children. We experienced all three meals, let me tell you. Breakfast is included in the room, which is the most cost-effective of the three meals. It is a Chinese and Western breakfast, with soft drinks, milk, coffee, yogurt, and even bread and desserts are quite rich. Lunch is the least cost-effective of the three meals. There are no soft drinks, only lemonade, and there are not many hot dishes. Fortunately, there are lamb chops or beef. Dinner has soft drinks, and it is also lamb chops or beef! There are more hot dishes than lunch, and there are seafood and Japanese food, and the dessert area is particularly rich.
