🏠: Dadun Rongji Restaurant ⏰: 5:00 PM – 3:00 PM Typical street food stall decor. Driving in is not recommended as the alley is narrow and parking is difficult. It's best to go early; long queues form as early as 6 PM. ☀️Signature Salted Pork Bone Congee Available in large, medium, and small pots, as well as single bowls, allowing you to choose according to your group size 👍; Besides salted pork bones 🐷, the congee also includes black moss, peanuts 🥜, and dried bean curd. The congee base is smooth and creamy ☺️; The pork bones are quite large, with plenty of meat, and importantly, the meat is very tender 😘; ✨Peppered Chicken Feet The aroma of pepper chicken feet is irresistible when served. The chicken feet were quite large, and the meat was tender and flavorful, with a nice peppery taste. 🌟 Pan-fried Fish Head: My personal favorite dish of the night! 😍 Although I don't usually eat fish, the fish head was pan-fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender inside, with absolutely no fishy smell. 🤤 💫 Clams: Quite large, with thick, chewy clams that were refreshing and sand-free, making them even more enjoyable to eat. 😄 ⭐️ Stir-fried Beef Rice Noodles: Large chunks of beef that weren't tough, and the rice noodles absorbed the beef's flavor, making them even more delicious. The portion size was generous. 😎 #FoodFestival #LocalFood #RestaurantExploration #TryAuthenticOldBrands #ZhongshanFood
This time-honored food stall hidden in Dadun Village, Zhongshan, is absolutely amazing. I passed by on the weekend and was captivated by the long lines. It turns out you can't go wrong eating like a local! 📍Dadun Rongji Food Store Address: Inside Dadun Village, Zhongshan City (follow the navigation to find it) Signature Dishes: Salted Pork Bone Congee, various Cantonese-style stir-fries Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM Per Person: 30-50 RMB The pork bones in this salted pork bone congee are incredibly flavorful, perfectly salty and fragrant without being too greasy, and the rice is cooked to perfection. The setting is a classic da wai dong, simple yet clean and tidy. Avoid peak meal times or arrive around 4:00 PM like we did to secure a table. The owner says their fried beef noodles and oyster pancakes are also very popular. I'll definitely try them next time! Tips: Parking is difficult, so we recommend parking outside on the main road and then walking in. #ZhongshanFood #GuangdongFoodStalls #CongeeNoodles #AuthenticFood #TraditionalShopCheck-In
