La Rotisserie Saint Michel

Excellent service and food. I really enjoyed my meal in Ô Saint Michel. To start I had the Thai Prawn Salad which was delicious and full of flavour. For my main course I had the Chicken Supreme which was packed with flavour. To finish I had the Basque Cheese Plate which rounded my meal off nicely. Throughout my meal the service was attentive but not intrusive.

Lovely food and a beautiful view. I went for the Foi Gras starter them lamb main dish, both very good and quite reasonable in price

This was a nice and different approach to known dishes. I really loved the tuna tartare with coconut milk and spices!! Great chef 👏

We had a very good meal and overall experience at Ô Saint Michel, from being warmly welcomed by Allain, to being waved off by Maxine. The choice of meals on offer has been pared down to some real classics that the chef does superbly and the flavours are wonderful. Paired with a good wine from the region (not hard in Bordeaux) and you are set for a very good evening and an incredibly affordable price. We did consider some haute cuisine restaurant but preferred Ô Saint Michel so that we could make some choice over what we ate, rather than being served the latest food fad from a chef trying to make a name for themselves. This is the real French cuisine - you won't be disappointed.

We were early for dinner by French standards but we're welcomed by the owner. The menu was small but the quality of food was excellent. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, there was an extensive wine selection and overall, the best meal we've had in Bordeaux- HIGHLY recommended
