Metropolitan City of Rome Capital Restaurants

We booked a table in this restaurant for a special occasion when visiting Rome. Especially enjoyed the view as we sat close to the windows. The restaurant has nice atmosphere, lights are slightly dimmed, great taste decor, comfy seats, overall really cousy place. Also we were not disappointed by the food. From the mains we tried cod and risotto - delicious. Our waiter helped us with apperitf and wine selection - quite a selection to choose from. We definitely recommend.

Really wonderful from start to finish.    We arrived early (7:30pm) so had our choice of tables by the windows for the amazing view of Rome to watch the sunset.   All the courses were well prepared and we never felt rushed.    The wine prices were higher than other restaurants in the nearby area but the restaurant is a bit more upscale.   I wore a dinner jacket and felt comfortable.   Obviously and unfortunately the T-Shirt and shorts anywhere crowd feels entitled to go to a nice restaurant in inappropriate clothing.   My only recommendation is the restaurant have a stated dress code of smart casual a a minimum.

Great food, excellent service, beautiful views and very reasonable - I&#39;ve not eaten as well at twice the price. I try not to repeat the same restaurants when revisiting a city with so many dining options, but I will definitely eat here again on my next visit to Rome.

Enjoyed a great evening with friends looking out over Rome!  Pierre, our host, was excellent as were all the staff!

We had two entrees and two mains and all were exceptionally tasty. vellutata di piselli - perfect pea with counterpointsrigatoni alla carbonara - classic and well executeddentice with mussels and fresh escaroleosso bucco with peas and carrotsA close to perfect meal: light but filling.

The young shoots of ferns are a local delicacy. People pick only the young shoots, soak them in salt water, and then cook them. The bracken treated in this way can be fried, stewed, or pickled in vinegar.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and promptly guided to our table. The service was exceptional&mdash;our waitress went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs, double-checking every dish I ordered, even when it was clearly marked on the menu.  The food was absolutely delicious. As starters, we had the **Cubotto di Manzo** and the **Fiore di Zucca**. For our mains, we enjoyed the **Bistecca di Manzo** and the **Filetto di Maiale**, both cooked to perfection.  Though we skipped dessert, we were treated to local **Cantucci** on the house. Since I couldn&rsquo;t have them, the waitress thoughtfully sourced **Baci chocolates** for me instead&mdash;a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture that truly stood out.

Delicious food served by an enthusiastic wait staff. It was hot but the misting fans really helped. We had wine and cocktails - all great. The lasagna was the bomb! And the lamb and steak were also big hits at our table.

Very beautiful restaurant with a nice view from the terrace. The service is excellent. The food quality is great; however,  my lobster pasta dish really disappointed me: I couldn&#39;t find the lobster below a heap of cherry tomatoes. I left the dish half way and told the waiter when he asked. I did get the full bill, though, which was abundant.
