There is a Japanese restaurant called &quot;Chikamatsu&quot; in Fukuoka. This restaurant requires reservations, so if you want to eat there, I personally recommend that you make a reservation at least three days in advance. The quality of their food is particularly good.

Japanese cuisine is one of the most suitable specialties for the Chinese stomach besides Chinese food. The chawanmushi is very well made, the eggs are tender and smooth, the tempura is fried crispy and delicious, and the miso soup is average and of a stable quality.

The sushi is absolutely fresh, the service is great and the restaurant is beautiful. The lunch menu starts at 2000 yen and dinner starts at 8000 yen. We ordered the 5000 yen lunch set which came with about 12 types of sushi, tamagoyaki, miso soup and dessert. Given the quality, it was great value for money. It was so good that we knew it would be a year before we would return, so we then ordered another plate of 10 types of sushi to share between the three of us. Reservations are absolutely necessary.

The exterior is made entirely of glass and has a unique entrance that is very noticeable even from the outside. The interior is bright and has an open counter where you can see the food being prepared, giving it an open feel. All dishes are specially prepared and very delicious. The sashimi in particular is very exquisite.
