white_wisteriaIt is located right next to Hakone-Yumoto Station. It is a hot spring manju called Hakone no Otsukisama (Moon of Hakone) and has a brown skin with red bean paste filling. The red bean paste is koshian (smooth bean paste). They are individually wrapped in plastic for giving as souvenirs, and are reasonably priced, so I recommend them. I bought the Tsuki no Usagi (Moon Rabbit) for myself. This one has a single chestnut inside, and the roasted wheat around it is fragrant and delicious.

Of course, you have to taste the traditional food when traveling. The fruit tastes very good.
It's no exaggeration to say that I always buy these souvenirs when I go to Hakone. They're delicious and have a long shelf life, so they're a great souvenir to take home.
The crispy chestnuts here are delicious.
This is a souvenir shop where you can buy freshly made manju at reasonable prices.
