Yubadon Naokichi

It's a bit similar to the snacks in Kyoto. The red bean ice cream is delicious. The red bean paste here is granular and tastes first-rate. The fried fish cakes are delicious. I thought they were pancakes at first.

Japanese tofu is still very famous, but this restaurant specializes in tofu. The tofu soup they have is completely different from the tofu we eat in China. They even have a matching children's meal.

The restaurant is within walking distance from Hakone-Yumoto Station. I ordered the Yuba Donburi set. The specialty Yuba Donburi is served piping hot. Although it is called a bowl, it is served separately as rice and a hot pot of Yuba. The set comes with Yuba sashimi, tofu, and a small side dish. It had a mild flavor and was delicious. However, it may not be enough for families with children. The restaurant was crowded even on weekdays.

This is a standard Japanese restaurant. The rice and noodles are good. Many people eat rice with toppings.
