M25***40Very close to the main tourist attractions but still off the beaten path, in a small alley (very pretty alley). Cute little houses, simple but typical neighborhood. Mostly locals, but they still have an English menu (only speaks Japanese though). Staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend trying the Oyako-Donburi (egg and chicken on rice), it's really delicious, but also recommend the soba noodle soup which is delicious. Very simple food but good, perfect for a small lunch. If you want to try simple local food in an out of the way place this is the place to go!

The locals recommended this small shop. The environment is very ordinary. There is no seat because of the busy business. However, the food was served very quickly. The barbecue rice is really delicious. The portion is not big and it is just right with the miso soup.
A small shop recommended by locals, the food is delicious, the environment is average
