Peanut tofu and pig's trotters are delicious~ "Steel plate peanut tofu" brings out the warmth of winter!! The izakaya with a great atmosphere specializes in Okinawan family cuisine~ Peanut tofu is my favorite appetizer recently! It's so chewy and bouncy, with a rich peanut flavor, and it's super refreshing when it's cold~
I passed by this izakaya when I was coming back from a tourist attraction in the evening. I went in to try it because it was dinner time. I could see that many of the customers in the restaurant were locals. The food was really good and the sashimi was fresh.
I saw that the business was booming at the entrance, so I went in. The sushi was very fresh and delicious, and the portions were quite large and tasted very good. The price was much cheaper than in Tokyo, Osaka and other places.
Yunangi Service: The proprietress speaks English. Atmosphere: A bit like a crowded izakaya, with tatami seating. The restaurant is quaint and dated, and must have been around for a while. The diners were packed together, creating a lovely atmosphere. Taste: The braised pork was a whole piece, like Dongpo pork, and the meat was perfectly tender. I loved the soybean paste soup; it was incredibly flavorful and the meat was incredibly fragrant. The cuttlefish rice had a milky aroma and was incredibly flavorful. The mixed dishes were delicious, with crispy bean sprouts and tender eggs. The peanut tofu was average, and the jasmine tea was just a can of soft drink.
