Bikkuri Udon

Bikkuri Udon is located at 27 Hashimotocho 630-8217, Nara City, Nara Prefecture, on Sanjo-dori, not far from Kintetsu Nara Station/JR Nara Station. It is a quaint little restaurant, clean and comfortable. Whenever a customer places an order, the waiters will shout loudly to the kitchen together, which is very unique. I ordered the Udon set meal, which was delicious and cheap at only 700 yen.

The most delicious divine udon in Kanto, Maruko Udon in Jimbocho, I thought I would never be able to eat such delicious udon outside of Kagawa Prefecture. I almost cried. I entered the store in the cold wind of late spring and ordered a huge bowl of meat udon! The fragrant and sweet noodle soup is filled with thick and soft udon, and thick meat, ...

I ordered the tempura set meal, one with noodles and one with rice. I thought the noodles were a little better, the udon noodles were very springy, and the rice was not too bad either, it was also very fragrant.

A very fresh and clean shop. The menu is all DIY-drawn, which is very interesting. Although the shop is not big, it is very cozy. The key is that there is a Chinese menu, which is very heartwarming. The price is also very affordable. The price-performance ratio is very high and the taste is also super good. I strongly recommend their tempura udon noodles.

This shop is so cute, I went in, and the flyers and business cards were all in this super cute style. The boss also asked me whether I could communicate in Chinese, Japanese, or English, and I said, well, Japanese is no problem. Their flyer also has maple leaf routes and a guide to Nara Park. Later, I ordered a beef udon set meal, wow, wow, wow, wow, another big pile of rice, and once again I want to complain about the Japanese eating habit of having rice with noodles.

It was a little late when we arrived in Nara. Most of the restaurants were closed, but this one was still open. There were six of us at the time. We were saved. It looked like a family restaurant, with everything. I chose the Oyako-ryori meal to start a wonderful night.
