Great Malaysian cuisines without the huge price tag! Reasonably priced & friendly staffs. Great for oversea tourists & so tourists. Should give a place a visit should anyone staying around Pantai Tengah especially staying at Aloft or Holiday Villa.

The seafood was delicious, the fried squid was very good, the fish cake inside was delicious, everything had a little bit of snack flavor, and it went very well with beer. The grilled beef was a bit old.

This restaurant called "cactus restaurant" is located in the city center of Langkawi. This restaurant specializes in seafood. I think the food here is good except that it is a bit salty.

I stayed at Holiday Villa for three days. I walked out every day but didn't notice this restaurant across the street. Maybe it was hidden away. Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year. Many places are closed. We went out to find food after 10 o'clock. Only this restaurant was still open, so we went in. The food is very good and very cheap. The price-performance ratio is really high! But we had to wait for a long time before the food was served. It's basically a Western breakfast.

The Chinese name of the restaurant is Cactus Restaurant. The proprietress is a Chinese from Houyi, Guangdong. She speaks fluent Cantonese and a little bit of Mandarin, so there is no communication barrier. The food is also very delicious.

During our five-day stay at the Holiday Villa Resort in Langkawi, we dined at CACTUS Restaurant almost every day. It was perfectly comfortable (except for the lack of air conditioning and the fact that it could get a bit hot at noon, though fans were available). The owner is Chinese, and the restaurant isn't as famous as some of the internet's most popular restaurants. However, every dish we ordered delighted both adults and children. The prices were significantly cheaper than those popular restaurants, likely due to the location.
