Geographer Cafe, I stumbled upon this while wandering around Jonker Street. The cafe was renovated from a Dutch building with a history of more than 200 years, with yellow walls and blue windows, and retro interior decoration, full of Nanyang style. The owner is a native Malacca, and his name "Geographer" means traveling around the world and making friends. The espresso is a surprise!
The Malay lead singer of the band has a great voice. The bar environment is nice and the location is good. The orange sour plum drink is good, the Momo tea is average. I ordered a jonker platter with chicken wings and fries, which is not bad.
It's interesting that geographers study nutritious meals. The introductions are all in Chinese, and I think they make sense. The food tastes good and is healthy. The waiters provide great service and always have a smile on their faces.
This is a famous café in the old town, and was used as a filming location for the movie "Summer Mommy Tea." Renovated from a Dutch building over 200 years old, the café boasts yellow walls, blue windows, and retro interior décor, brimming with Nanyang style. Today, it's a Jonker Street landmark, and its specialty is naturally its coffee.
