梦的旅行家My lens of Malaysia Tawau Town
❤Recommendation reason:
Tawau Town is used as a transit station to Semporna because there is a lush tropical rainforest here. I wanted to explore it, so I stayed for two days. Tawau is very small, and the airport is also simple and small. The driver who took me to the hotel was an old man over 70 years old, with age spots all over his hands and face. Many elderly people in Southeast Asian countries are still working to support their families. There are many mosques in the city of Tawau. Every day at five o'clock, the sound of imams chanting the Koran floats over the whole city, starting a peaceful day for the whole city. The people here live a relatively easy and simple life. There is no hostility on their faces, and they are also friendly to tourists. It may not be a popular tourist destination, and commercialization is not serious. The locals often have simple smiles on their faces. You can also see a nice sunrise and sunset by walking around the beach in Tawau. Although it is quite different from Kota Kinabalu, it is still great to stay alone at the beach and watch the sunset.
🌟Recommendations:
[One] Strolling and taking pictures
You can also take pictures at the fish market and the comprehensive market~
[Two] Food records
I remember that the curry fish head in the teahouse is delicious! Half a fish head is enough for two or three people
There is also a white-cut chicken restaurant that is also good
Based on my experience of coming to Malaysia so many times, basically Chinese restaurants are good to eat at and will not disappoint
🗓Travel arrangements for free travel
This place is very small and you can basically walk to anywhere
[One]Watching the sunset at The Peaks
Located on the TV Hill, there is an observation deck and a restaurant, only half an hour away from the center of Tawau. The restaurant built with containers has few seats indoors, and you can enjoy the magnificent scenery and sunset of Sabah.
[Two] Ecological Park, located 24 kilometers north of Tawau City. Explore this tropical rainforest in depth and you may also see the rare clouded leopard in Sabah. Here is the world's tallest parashorea chinensis, which is nearly 100 meters high and 96.9 meters high. There are hiking routes from 40 minutes to 4 hours. If you don't have any plans, just relax in Tawau for a day~ #Creative Incentive Plan to Share 10,000 Yuan in Cash #National Day Travel Diary #City Humanities Notes #Scenery on the Road #Play Outdoors

#創創動計劃分萬萬现金 Tawau is also a very interesting place. It is not just an airport. Tawau is very beautiful and pristine! It made me realize my little jungle adventure dream (after all, who didn’t dream of going to the Amazon jungle alone when they were young? Although this is almost the end of the dream, it is also a dream come true). If you like hiking or like this pristine tropical rainforest, you must not miss it! Sometimes, there is no destination. You can find many surprises without rushing to check in. [Love] Attractions [One] A famous local market in Tawau. The first floor sells vegetables and some specialties, the second floor sells local ethnic costumes and some daily necessities, and the third floor is similar to a snack street. [Two] Tawau Mountain National Park: It is basically the most primitive appearance of the tropical rainforest. The main attractions include "the world's tallest tropical tree", waterfalls, natural hot springs, mountain tops, five streams, etc. The farthest mountain top requires about 25km of hiking, and the nearest "world's tallest tree" is about 2.5km. The ecological environment is particularly good, and monkeys can be seen everywhere. [Three] The Peaks to watch the sunset: Located on the Telecom Tower Hill (TV Hill), the observation deck and restaurant are only half an hour away from the center of Tawau. There are not many seats in the container-built restaurant. Enjoy the magnificent Sabah scenery and sunset. [Four] Tawau is more of a transit point to Semporna, and people often overlook its original beauty. But there are actually fewer tourists here, and it is more relaxing. You can see the sea everywhere. It is beautiful and relaxing. [100] Food [One] Raw meat noodles. You can choose between noodles and vermicelli. Both are dry mixed with a bowl of raw meat soup. I personally think that noodles are better than vermicelli. [Two] There are thumb-sized bananas and durian honey (yes, not jackfruit or durian, but durian honey). You must bargain hard for durian and seafood markets (those who understand will understand [Awesome]) [Three] Yellowfin tuna. There is a small port outside the fish market. On one side, fishermen are unloading, and on the other side, fishermen living on the opposite island go back and forth to the dock every day. [Four] The curry fish head in the teahouse is delicious. Two or three people Half a fish head is enough [Five] There is a white-cut chicken restaurant that is also good [!] Most restaurants in Malaysia opened by Chinese are good to eat at without any problems [CarFront][CarFront] Transportation: This place is very small and you can basically walk to anywhere [HandsUp] Recommended Walk: Seaside fish market and comprehensive market Photography: You can take photos on the street #National Day Travel Diary #City Humanities Notes #The night view here is super beautiful #Niche Discovery Club

People often ignore its original beauty, but there are actually fewer tourists here, and it feels more relaxed! 🗓Itinerary: I found a hotel to stay in. I can see the sea outside the window, the vegetable market, the museum, the night market, and walked all the way to a comprehensive market here. There are thumb-sized bananas and durian honey! Then stroll to the fish market opposite. There is a small port outside the fish market. On one side is the fishing and unloading, and on the other side is the daily dock where fishermen living on the opposite island go back and forth every day! There are super large murals in the market, you can check in and take pictures! The seaside fish market and comprehensive market, casual street shots are also good!
