Malaysian restaurant Wau

Beautiful view, delicious food Our waiter was excellent, charming and made great recommendations. We ordered the reindeer and trout based on his recommendations. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We had the apple cake and chocolate cake for dessert...both were delicious. The view we had was a wonderful evening.

We had dinner at Wau on Wednesday, November 27 with a group from work. 1. The Sfeer was super gezellig!!!! My colleagues loved it.2. The owner Ben Kot was so helpful and welcoming - and very bescheiden :-)3. Last but not least, the food was soooooooooo amazing, You could taste the time and love that it took to prepare the wonderful dishes. Reminded me of my mom's loving homemade dishes.Thank you Mr. Kot for a wonderful evening. We enjoyed ourselves so much. and thank you for also being so easy about the flower delivery for my colleage and having it ready on the table for us when we arrived. I will certainly be back. Nice cosy restaurant in a lively street. We sat at the window with the doors open so we got both the vibes in and outside of the restaurant. Great Malaysian spiced food, perfect variety of satay, nice vegetarian dishes as well so something for all to choose from! Bottle of Prosecco to go with the food, great combination!

If you like Malaysian food and happen to be in Amsterdam, this is the place! Its a small restaurant and seats can fill up quite fast so better reserve in advance! The food was just amazing, definitely one needs to try the famous Nasi Lemak! Until next time, Terima Kasih!

This was the second time eating at Wau Restaurant. The food is very flavorful,exotic, and nicely presented. Wau will be a go to place to eat for us .
