The French Café

Sid's French cuisine is very authentic. The fried prawns are delicious. The prawns are as big as a palm and are very clean without any sand. The salmon bread is very good.

Standard French cuisine, feels more authentic than the ones in China, mainly because there are fewer people and the waiters are very helpful. The dishes are served in order and the wines are classified according to the dishes. You can choose between red and white wines, which is very good.

Great. I go there every year on my birthday. The service is very good. Every time I eat (and wait) until I almost fall asleep... Once I choked while eating whitebait and coughed so hard for 15 minutes that I almost passed out. Everyone looked at me and the waiter was so scared that he kept asking me if I was okay. When I went there again later, they still remembered me. It was so embarrassing hahahahahahaha... I love the taste, otherwise I wouldn't be a repeat customer. It's just that it's difficult to make reservations on Saturdays and Sundays, maybe one month in advance. On weekdays, you can make reservations one or two weeks in advance.

Let me tell you the price first. It is 100 New Zealand dollars, not 100 RMB. It is considered a popular restaurant among foreigners, attracting many people to check in. The dishes, environment and service are all very good; it is always ranked among the top restaurants in the national selection every year. Thumbs up

The environment is just as I imagined. I like the overall decoration style and the cozy atmosphere. This one is really good among the ones I have visited. The dishes are really great and taste really good. It is a restaurant worth recommending. The average consumption per person is not high, the price is moderate, and the cost performance is very good. The waiters are enthusiastic, thoughtful, and very nice. I will consider coming again in the future.
