Devil Burger

Devil Burger is one of the top ten hamburger restaurants in Queenstown. Their hamburgers have a thick piece of meat in the middle, and their fried chicken tastes great too.

We had the Devil's Burger for the first time while having dinner in Queenstown. We had eaten Fergburger here before. Although it tasted good and there was no queue, I was still wondering what the Devil's Burger tasted like. We waited for a while to eat the Devil's Burger. I have to say the Devil's Burger tasted really good

Whenever I walk past Fergburger, there is a long line outside the door and it is cold, but the devil burger is probably very good. The food is cooked quickly and there are seats available. The curry fries are also delicious. The burger and fries are more suitable for one person, while the curry fries are suitable for eating with friends.

FERGBURGER and DEVIL BURGER, the two are ranked only one place apart in TRIPADVISER, but the actual situation is completely different. FERGBURGER is a super famous darling in Queenstown. Almost everyone who comes here will buy a burger, at least, those who come here for the first time, so there is always a long queue in front of it. You will rarely see such a grand occasion in other places in New Zealand. But FERG has indeed done it. Some people even say that it is the most delicious hamburger in the world. There are all kinds of praises and compliments. FERG is also full of confidence and directly writes "IN FERG WE TRUST" on the store sign. OK, but for such a burger, you have to wait. We ordered three burgers, two basic "The Fergburger" and one "Cock Cajun". It took more than 20 minutes to queue up and another 40 to 50 minutes to wait. The taste was not bad, but to be honest, it is not difficult to eat burgers comparable to or better than it in Shanghai or other places, and waiting so long for such burgers, at least for me, will never come again. DEVIL BURGER is a surprise. The restaurant's appearance and decoration are all my favorites. It's just because it ranks second and is not on the busiest street. There is no queue at the door and there are empty seats in the restaurant. You know, it is only 300 meters away from FERG, so people always remember and support the No. 1 pick, and often forget or don't remember who the No. 2 and No. 3 picks are. To be safe, I only ordered two, one is the most basic "Devil Burger", and the other is the current flagship "The Renegape" (Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder). The former tastes no less than FERG, but the price is 2$ lower, while the latter is 2$ higher than CAJUN, but the taste is far better than CAJUN. Or can I put it another way? This is the real burger that can definitely beat most burgers in seconds! No wonder the two American young people who took our car back to Queenstown (a man and a woman, they didn't know each other, and they had been in Queenstown for a long time) said in unison that DEVIL BURGER BETTER THAN FERG, so this story tells us two things: 1. Always taste it. You can be the first, but don't stop me from liking the second or third, because they are better than you. 2. Tourists have their own circle, and locals have their own circle. The two are not in conflict, but sometimes they are clearly divided. But believe me, after eating it for so many years, the locals will not always support it if it doesn't taste good.
