We had a lovely evening. The food was simply amazing with the chefs interesting combination of flavors, paired with perfect wine selections. In short, it was one of the best meals ever. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Obrigada!

The food was very good. However, we got the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The food should never arrive before the wine is in the glass-that was the case. Also, the pours were the least generous in terms of wine pairings compared to other restaurants.

Beautiful building and view over the Tagus. Service was perfect - just the eight balance of attentiveness.  Food was absolutely stunning - delightfully creative presentation and delicious combinations of ingredients and tastes. Loved it and would definitely highly recommend.

Outstanding service and the most incredible view of the city from the outdoor rooftop ask waiter to accompany you to the top terrace , they will be happy to help you with that. The ambient is elegant. The food choice is relatively limited. We decide to have a la card menu&hellip;there were  two fish dishes and two meat dishes of which one was not available. Orange Dessert was over the top.

Both the food and extraordinary service at Alma make it the best restaurant in Lisbon. Each dish is presented beautifully and consists of amazing textures and complex and interesting tastes. The servers are knowledgable and warm and most of all professional. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere.

No. 2 of Fine Dining  in Lisbon

Situated in the lower level of a large Princely mansion, the coveted  16 tufted high chairs aroundThe U shaped bar are the setting for the GASTRONOMIC SYMPHONY. Each diner is a member of the audience. The chef conducts his staff, providing the most glorious presentations and delectable offerings. The maestro discusses the presentations . At the same time the sous chefs are putting the finishing touches on the dishes. The offerings are presented and plated in front of the guest, while watching the various presentations around the bar. The atmosphere is open yet intimate. Each reservation is separate while being part of the total experience. The food! It&#39;s a &quot; symphony&quot;Of textures and tastes. The melding of a spice to an herb to a protein. Truly an experience. An OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE.Now, one drawback. The building is historic. As a result there is no elevator. If you are handicapped, not able to walk, then unfortunately you will not be able to experience TWO MONKEYS.

The steak buns are of great quality! The beef inside is very chewy and juicy. In addition, their queen rolls are also very delicious, the cake is soft and the cream inside is not greasy at all! ! Durian pan tart is also one of my favorites, with a super rich durian filling, a must-have for durian lovers~

I tried the barnacles for the first time last night 😋 It was a little more work than I expected but the taste was good. Apparently someone said it&rsquo;s the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon and we had to wait more than an hour to get a table. Although there is nothing special on the menu, the seafood is very fresh, which makes all of the dishes delicious. The famous dessert is steak sandwich but we couldn&rsquo;t eat anymore 😅

Besides a salad which, in my opinion, was a bit dull everything else was exceptionally good. I would mention the desert (chocolate cake?) which was indeed very special.

I changed the restaurant to eat paella again. Ahhh, I love it so much. I decided to learn how to make Portuguese paella [Minions are happy] It tastes much better than the salty and oily Spanish paella. By the way, this restaurant is called As Velhas. It is right next to the airbnb I booked. I wanted to eat there last night, but I didn&rsquo;t make a reservation and there was no seat, so I went there for lunch today. ​
