Ministry of Crab

When you come to Colombo, you must eat crabs here. They are killed upon ordering, and you can feel the freshness of the crab meat. I also added some garlic buns, and the taste was really unique when I dipped them in garlic. In the end, I finished several slices of bread by myself.

It really lives up to the title of Michelin restaurant. The restaurant is in an alley and all the details are very good. I ate garlic crab and shrimp, which tasted really good. You can go later and basically get a table. The shrimp and crab are fresh and super good. You can drink ginger beer, which is also very delicious. The free crab is just right. Except for being expensive, there is nothing wrong with it. It is worth a try.

Ordered a "Godzilla Crab" (biggest crab ever) to enjoy on my own; it was delicious! The crab curry was very good and fresh. The curry sauce was one of the best I have ever had. The service was efficient and friendly. The only disappointment was the limited wine list and the limited selection of wines on it. The atmosphere and color scheme of the restaurant are very good.

I ordered pepper crab and spicy crab. I still think spicy crab is more suitable for my taste. The oil at the bottom of the crab is mixed with spices. Dip it with bread and it tastes super good. There are two of us, basically one for each. The butter shrimp is also good. The environment is just OK. There is no air conditioning and it is quite hot. We booked a table, so it was good to be in the house. Many people in the yard ate at small cement tables. There were also many mosquitoes. The service awareness of the waiter was OK.

I went there without reservation. The restaurant is very big, but there are many people there. A crab and a lobster for 2 people, plus a plate of bread, that's enough. You can't go wrong with crabs with garlic sauce. A glass of iced black tea is really a good match. On average, the cost per person is 700-800, which is also very reasonable.

🦀The prawns were indeed tender and succulent, but the black pepper flavor was too spicy for us. I recommend trying the butter flavor. Personally, I think the prawns here are even better than the crabs!! Dipping the bread in the prawn sauce and taking a bite is so delicious 😍 We wanted more and ordered another serving! ✌🏻 The avocado and crab salad was just okay. The iced tea was delicious, sweet and sour, refreshing and perfect for cooling down after the spiciness 😂 💰The final bill for seven people was 93,200 rupees, which is over 4,000 yuan. Less than 600 yuan per person.
