May & Zin Restaurant

This is a pretty good seafood restaurant. The red curry crab is pretty good. I ordered fried prawns, which were also good. The dish was not spicy and the prawns were quite fresh. Overall I was very satisfied.

It's very close to our hotel, and it's also very authentic Thai. It's very good for people like us who can eat sour and spicy food, but if you are only used to Thai food from Thai restaurants in China, the ones here are much spicier.

The location is pretty good, it's easy to find in Ao Nang. There are many Chinese tourists in Krabi now, so I saw many compatriots in this restaurant. The taste is good overall, and the amount of food is OK, not too much but not too small.

It was a rainy season and it rained all day. I cancelled my trip to the sea and wandered around Ao Nang Beach. I happened to pass by this place in the afternoon. It was like an open-air food court. It was ranked third on tripadvisor. I thought it would be better. But it cost 120 for a small bowl of Tom Yum Goong soup. There were seven shrimps and some mushrooms. The soup was seasoned like it was made from an instant seasoning packet. It was not as good as some Thai restaurants in Shanghai, and it was far worse than the cheap and authentic restaurants in Chiang Mai. I checked trip advisor and it was already ranked 14th.

The taste of this restaurant is delicious, but the location is too hard to find. Google Maps is completely useless there, so I used Baidu, but Baidu is really too bad. After going around in circles, I found the destination, but I looked left and right and it was nowhere to be found... Isn't this a lie! I asked people in poor English and found it. The delicious food suppressed our anger. It felt great.

When I was in Krabi, I went to a Thai restaurant almost every day. The curry crab there was super delicious, very refreshing and not greasy. It was the best curry crab I have ever eaten. I can eat several bowls of rice with just this plate. A small curry crab costs 325 baht, which is also very affordable.

Best place in Krabi I have seen places like this maybe twice in Thailand. Very casual. Run by a family. And the food will blow your mind. This is it. I have no words. The soft shell crab is out of this world and I will be dreaming about it for years to come. I would sell my soul for their food.

My favorite restaurant in Krabi, bar none. It’s a discount card and they also gave me fruits. We ordered four dishes for about 600 baht. We ate there three times. The taste was very good. Tom Yum Goong, Pandan Chicken, Squid, Shrimp. Pineapple rice and a large portion were delicious. Lots of seafood. Highly recommended. The restaurant group is right next to Holiday Inn Resort. There is a Ctrip Food Forest advertisement.
