Wanna's Place is one of the oldest restaurants in Ao Nang, Krabi. It has been open for more than 30 years. The restaurant is located in a hotel, and the owner of the hotel is a Muslim, so the restaurant does not serve pork. In recent years, the restaurant has begun to introduce Swiss chefs to make authentic Swiss dishes, but at the same time retain Thai dishes. Before the Swiss meal is officially served, the restaurant will send a salad to the guests as an appetizer. The must-try Swiss meal is definitely the only hot stone steak in Krabi. The hot stone cluster is imported from Switzerland and has been kept warm in the oven. Before serving, the waiter will carefully help the guests put on a small apron to prevent the beef gravy and grease on the hot stone from flying onto the clothes. It is not recommended to keep this beef on the hot stone all the time. Instead, it is best to put the beef on a plate next to it, and then cut it into small slices and put it back on the hot stone to warm it up when eating. There are three different sauces to match it, namely black pepper sauce, curry sauce and sour tartar sauce. There are four different types of potatoes to choose from. Zurcher Geschnetzeltes with Roschti requires cutting the potatoes into thin strips before frying, which takes a lot of effort. The main dish is Swiss-style chicken with mushrooms in white sauce, which is a bit sour. Platzli is a traditional Swiss fried chicken, a dish that is very popular among local children. If you are just looking for your first time to enjoy Thai food, I suggest you come here and try it, otherwise forget it. I passed by many times and found that there were not many people, and after trying it myself, it was just average.
