Hakkasan Mayfair

This was the most amazing Chinese restaurant I’ve been at in London. Raphael was the most welcoming and gentle person in the restaurant. Food and drinks were unbelievably and we enjoyed it so much. For sure I’ll be coming back anytime soon!!!

A Michelin-quality Chinese restaurant, rated one Michelin star. Many people come here for this honorary title. It is a Cantonese restaurant. I personally think it is okay, not particularly good, but not bad either.

It's Cantonese food, but it looks like creative cuisine. After all, it's Chinese food and tastes good. The roast suckling pig is okay, but it's expensive to eat Chinese food in London, and the service is not as good as Western food.

Hakkasan Mayfair 17 Bruton St, Mayfair, London W1J 6QB Today I tried Hakkasan's New Year's set menu. There are two Hakkasans in London. I've been to the Hanway one before and had a very good impression. Today I went to the Mayfair one. Although the environment looks good and the space is relatively large, the overall service attitude is still not as good as Hanway. Of course, this does not prevent their China-only set menu from capturing my heart. First of all, it costs 88 pounds per person, plus the service charge, it's about 100 pounds per person. One set menu is suitable for two people. It is recommended that you eat less beforehand to enjoy the final surprise! Peking Duck with crispy bean curd and mango This looks very refreshing. The roast duck is cut into small pieces. There are mangoes and some very crispy foods at the bottom. It's sour and sweet, very delicious! Seafood Sesame jian dui&Shacha chicken puff It looks like a sesame ball, but the taste is more delicate. Another dessert has a crispy crust and tastes like Shanghai dim sum. The filling is a bit greasy, but it goes well with the crust! Superior Soup with Chilean seabass and bamboo pitch A very healthy soup. I haven't had this kind of soup in London for a long time. It contains lotus seeds, fish, etc. It can clear away heat and warm the body. Wok-fry lobster with spinach and lily bulb The emerald lobster ball looks beautiful, and is decorated with lilies and lotus seeds. The lobster is very fresh and tastes smooth! Rhug estate lamb with shiitake Iron plate rice cake and lamb fillet are really special dishes. When the iron plate is served, the aroma of the meat is released little by little, and there are some green peppers as embellishments. The combination of the two tastes and the presentation is really irresistible! Crispy suckling pig with sticky rice The crispy suckling pig looks quite greasy, but it is OK with rice. And because there is pomegranate on the plate, eating some fruit can slightly reduce the taste! Stir-fry pak choi with eryngii and pioppini Abalone sauce wild mushrooms and cabbage sprouts. Although there are a lot of mushrooms, the vegetables still maintain their freshness. Friends who don’t like mushrooms can also eat this dish! Good luck every year Macarons are paired with Hakkasan’s own colored paper, which is red and inlaid with golden words. It’s so beautiful!
