palettes_nyAfter my friend came back from a trip to Philadelphia, he started to recommend this ice cream shop like crazy. So, under the recommendation of his friend, he added it to the Philadelphia check-in list. He took advantage of this visit to the old city of Philadelphia to check in at this century-old ice cream shop not far from the Independence Palace. Their store is really an ice cream shop hidden on the corner. The store is very low-key and even a little inconspicuous. If you hadn't seen the people queuing at the door, you might have missed it.
They don't have dine-in now, you can only order pick up at the door. The sign at the door shows the flavors they supply that day. One line is queuing to order food, and another line is queuing to get ice cream. I ordered butter peach, which my friend especially recommended. This has a rich peach aroma, and with the addition of Butter, the milky flavor will be more abundant. Another flavor is Sea Salt Caramel recommended by the store. Of the two flavors, I prefer the latter. The richness of the taste will be better, and the sea salt caramel flavor is paired with the milky aroma, which is not sweet at all.

The ice cream & offering is nice but the prices are a bit ridiculous even for the city. Milkshakes start at nine dollars. And the crowds & line are barely worth the wait. It’s an ordeal to get in, wait, shuffle this way & that to get out of everyone’s way as they double back the whole length of the line to get out.
The shop is located at the corner of the street, and many people are enjoying ice cream at the small tables outside the shop, which is very eye-catching. There are many flavors of ice cream, and you can choose to have it in boxes or cones. There are toilets, which is very suitable for a short stop and looking at the street view.
The environment is very good, the taste is great, I am almost dying of greed, it is a good place for dinner
