The Alnwick Garden
The Alnwick Garden is a unique garden that blends natural scenery, horticultural design, and fun interaction. Passing through the beautifully decorated Italian-style archway, you enter a winding path lined with neatly trimmed hedges and flower beds, with the air filled with the scent of flowers and fresh grass. The central water cascade pours down from the slope, the spring water reflecting the sky, and the light mist gives a feeling that is both refreshing and tranquil. The garden features an iconic "Poison Garden," where many highly toxic or hallucinogenic plants are grown. Visitors must enter under guided supervision to experience a different kind of horticultural charm. The black iron gate is engraved with a skull symbol, which is both intimidating and intriguing. In addition, The Alnwick Garden also incorporates a highly creative "Treehouse Restaurant" and a children's play area. Wooden bridges, suspension bridges, and treehouses make visitors feel as if they have stepped into a fairy-tale world. Children can run freely in the shade, while adults can enjoy a quiet moment at the café.Alnwick · 380m from downtown

Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh Castle stands majestically on the volcanic cliffs above the Royal Mile, guarding Scotland for centuries—it once served as a royal residence, military fortress, and prison. Today, you can stand at the exact spot where the One O'Clock Gun fires, stroll through St. Margaret's Chapel, and explore the National War Museum on the west side, which showcases centuries of Scottish military history through uniforms, medals, and weapons, alongside the Crown Jewels displayed beside the Stone of Destiny. The castle esplanade echoes with the sound of bagpipes, the Crown's history predates the Act of Union, and the breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth stretch out before you. This historic British landmark still commands awe from people across the island.United Kingdom · Edinburgh

This castle is located in the northeast corner of England and is open to tourists only in spring and summer. It is the filming location for many movies and British TV series.
The castle also has a huge garden. The combined ticket is 28.5 pounds. It is worth seeing.
You cannot take pictures of the interior of the castle. Since the owner still lives here, all the objects are kept very delicate. There are many square frames next to the castle wall. The scenery is so beautiful that any picture you take is a postcard.
There are many interactive projects with tourists in the castle. A program list is announced every day. There are also many exquisite souvenirs in the gift shop.

The magnificent castle embodies the history, culture, and glory of Scotland. The visitor pathways and signage were well-organized, and there was even an audio guide in Mandarin, which allowed tourists like us who don't speak English to gain a deeper understanding of the castle. The staff at the visitor center were warm and attentive, and the police officers in the square outside the castle were friendly and responsible, helping me find my lost wife.
