Gold Coast beach

4.8/5
645 reviews
Gold Coast beach stretches for approx. 70 km, and its golden sand is a hallmark of this coastline, which is how it got the name Gold Coast. The sand is fine and glows with a warm golden luster in the sunlight, while the water transitions from a shallow turquoise near the shore to a deep blue in the distance, creating distinct layers. The beach features several distinct sections along its length, with a lively atmosphere in the north and a relatively quieter vibe in the south, catering to visitors with different preferences. Surfing is a signature, long-standing experience at this beach. The coastline boasts several famous surf breaks, including the Superbank near Snapper Rocks, which is known for producing long, hollow waves that attract a large number of surfers year-round. Surf lifesavers patrol the beach, and red and yellow flags mark safe swimming areas. A coastal walkway connects the various beach sections, making it a great way to explore by walking or cycling. The beach enjoys abundant sunshine and a mild climate year-round, with different sections catering to various needs.Surfers Paradise · 72.5 km from Byron Bay

Surfers Paradise Beach is located on the Gold Coast of Australia. It is an important area of the Gold Coast. Known as "Miami of the Southern Hemisphere", it is a huge sandy coast. 1. Overview of attractions One of Australia's most famous beaches, attracting surfers from all over the world. The Gold Coast is close to the Pacific Ocean and has 75 kilometers of beaches. It is a huge sandy coast. The coastline here is straight and wide, the shoreline is very shallow, and the waves are very large, which is very suitable for various water sports such as surfing. Among them, the continuous beach is 42 kilometers long. There is a reef at the corner of the turning cliff. Layers of waves rush over from the reef cliff, surging forward, and the height is 2-3 meters. If the sea is stormy, the waves will roar. The turbulent waves are set off, and its splendid sight is amazing. 2. Leisure sports There are many entertainment facilities on the beach, so tourists will not be bored. The jet boat located in Apple Park is suitable for those who like to experience thrilling sports. The speed boat will depart from Surfers Paradise to WaveBreak Island every day, bringing the experiencer a 360-degree flip experience. The whole journey takes about 55 minutes. 3.7D cinema Have only heard of 3D cinema, but never heard of 7D? The 7D Cinema on Trickett Street is very popular with 10 scenes to choose from. 4. Shopping Tired of blue sky and white clouds, silver beach, you can also enjoy shopping. Not far from the promenade near the beach, shopping malls such as ParadiseCentre, HarbourTownOutletShoppingCenter and PacificFairShoppingCenter are gathered in the business district, which can be reached in a few minutes' walk. 5. Dining The restaurants here serve Australian local food, Indian food, Mexican food, Japanese food and Chinese food, and the rich choices will make you dazzled. If you like Italian food, you can go to Nicolinis Pizzeria, which serves delicious pizza, but remember to book in advance on Friday and weekend nights! The first floor of TheMarkBuilding is a famous nightclub. Come to the dance floor to have fun, and it is open until 5:00 in the morning.Surfers Paradise · 73.9 km from Byron Bay

Springbrook National Park

4.2/5
91 reviews
Springbrook National Park is located in the mountain rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland. The plateau, shaped by ancient volcanic activity, has been deeply carved by streams into layers of cliffs and canyons, creating a lush, green landscape. Most waterfalls and lookouts are accessible via short trails. The park consists of several areas, with the Springbrook Plateau and Natural Bridge being the most popular. Visitors can enjoy waterfalls and cliffs during the day, and see the starlike glowworms in the caves at night—each offering its own unique experience. Natural Bridge, Springbrook National Park, is the signature attraction here: years of erosion by stream water have hollowed out the mountain, and now the stream pours through a circular hole in the cave ceiling, weaving a curtain of water inside. A natural stone bridge remains where the cave roof collapsed. You can see the waterfall passing through the cave by following the approximately 1 km loop trail. After dark, the cave ceiling lights up with patches of blue-green glow—these are the bioluminescent larvae commonly known as glowworms. They are actually the larvae of a type of fungus gnat, and their cold tail light is used to lure prey. When gathered in large numbers, they look like a starry sky hanging overhead. They glow every night throughout the year, though their light is dimmer during the dry winter and spring seasons and exceptionally bright during the hot, humid, and rainy seasons. On humid summer nights, you might occasionally spot glowing mushrooms along the trail, and sometimes even fireflies. Please turn off flashlights and camera flashes when viewing, as direct bright light will cause the colony to "turn off" instantly. Please stay on the trail, and do not enter the water in the cave area. After walking out of the cave, don't forget to look up; the stars in the mountain night sky are equally moving. The plateau area is home to most of the lookouts and waterfalls: the Canyon Lookout is just a few steps from the road, offering a view of Twin Falls and Rainbow Falls as they tumble over the cliff edge into the deep valley. The ambitiously named Best of All Lookout requires a walk through a forest of ancient Antarctic beech trees that are thousands of years old; on a clear day, you can see Mount Warning in New South Wales in the distance. Purling Brook Falls, with a drop of nearly 100 m, is the park's iconic waterfall. The loop trail allows you to descend to the valley floor, where you can stand on a suspension bridge and look up at the entire water curtain, which is especially spectacular when the water volume is high after rain. The Twin Falls circuit allows you to walk directly behind the waterfall.Springbrook · 60.7 km from Byron Bay

Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout is located at the summit of Mount Coot-Tha, west of the Brisbane city center, at an elevation of over 200 m, and is a classic spot for overlooking the city. The name "Mount Coot-Tha" originates from the local Indigenous language and means "place of honey." In the early years, it was also called "One Tree Hill" because of a single tree left standing at the summit. Since it was designated as a public recreation area in the late 19th century, it has been a popular spot for Brisbane residents to relax and enjoy the view. The lookout offers expansive views, with the winding Brisbane River flowing through the city, and the city center skyline and Story Bridge in full view. On clear days, the view extends all the way to Moreton Bay, where islands such as Stradbroke Island are clearly visible. The evening is a particularly charming time here, as the sunset glow illuminates the city and the bay, and after dark, the lights of the high-rises gradually turn on, making it a romantic moment to enjoy the night view of Brisbane. The summit features a café and a souvenir shop, where you can take a break after sightseeing. A mountain road leads directly to the summit, where the distinctive Brisbane radio and television transmission towers are located. If you have enough time, the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and the planetarium at the foot of the mountain are also worth a visit.Australia · Mount Coot-Tha

South Bank Parklands is located on the south bank of the Brisbane River, facing the city center across the river. It is a linear waterfront park stretching along the river, converted from the site of the 1988 World Expo. A major highlight here is that a beach has been brought directly into the city center. Streets Beach features an artificial beach and swimming pool. The white sand, blue water, and the skyline formed by office buildings on the opposite bank create a unique view, which is quite rare in an Australian city center. You can swim here when the weather is warm. The Grand Arbour in the park stretches for approx. 1 km, with steel frames covered in purple bougainvillea. It is a highly popular photo spot. The Rainforest Walk is hidden in the bustling city, lined with lush greenery. The Nepal Peace Pagoda is an original wooden pavilion left over from the World Expo. Cape Danger is a scenic spot in Australia, located on the southern tip of the Gold Coast, on the border between Queensland and New South Wales. When Captain Cook landed on the Australian mainland for the second time, in order to avoid the reef, the captain ordered a sharp turn of nearly 90 degrees to avoid the sinking of the ship, hence the name of Dangerous Point. There are Cook's Monument and Lighthouse on Cape Dangerous, where there are flocks of flying seabirds, sitting on the cliff overlooking the endless coastline and layers of white waves, facing the gentle sea breeze, very comfortable and comfortable.Coolangatta · 53.7 km from Byron Bay

[Scenery] One of the most beautiful beaches on the Gold Coast! [Fun] Lots of people surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️🏄🏻‍♂️ and even watch the sunrise. [Value] Plenty of apartment-style hotels nearby, so you can choose the right budget for your budget. A comfortable stay here for three to five days, or even a week or two.

This is a must-visit in the Gold Coast area of Brisbane. My favorite attractions are: Twin Falls, Rainbow Falls, Qinquan Falls, Natural Bridge. These places are very beautiful during the day, but they are a million times more beautiful at night. There are many fireflies on the forest road and in the cave... Just think, in New Zealand, you have to spend 50 New Zealand dollars to see the fireflies in the cave, but here it is free!!! An absolutely amazing place!!!

Fangchenggang's Sunshine Coast is located next to Beibu Gulf Avenue. It is almost entirely filled with high-rise buildings. From the higher floors you can see the beautiful sea view opposite. In the evening, there are many people doing fitness and leisure sports along the beach. I like it very much.
