On November 1st, I went on a Kyoto & Nara tour with Guide Oh Seok-bong. I chose a one-day tour because I felt my stamina would be too limited to explore using public transportation, and I think it was a really good choice. He explained everything with passion and recommended activities at each tourist spot. Plus, he was so entertaining that I wasn't bored at all throughout the tour. The best part was that towards the end, the guide recommended great restaurants and even personally made reservations for us. Thanks to him, I was able to eat the most delicious yakitori I have ever had. If any of my acquaintances go to Kyoto or if I get the chance to go again, I will definitely recommend this tour. Also, he mentioned that he is willing to help if you need anything outside of the tour in Japan, so it is worth keeping that in mind.★

The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.★

This day tour was a fantastic choice for our family of six! Meeting at 7:50 AM in Nipponbashi, Osaka, was incredibly convenient. We visited Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Kiyomizu-dera, Sannenzaka, and also Byodo-in Temple, Omotesando (the main approach to Japan), and Uji Shrine – a rich and diverse itinerary.
What touched us most was our tour guide, Joy, who took impeccable care of us throughout the trip! Joy not only provided clear and detailed explanations in Chinese but also enthusiastically helped us take beautiful family photos – her photography skills were superb! Furthermore, Joy generously recommended must-try local foods and Uji matcha, ensuring we enjoyed authentic and delicious meals. She was incredibly patient with both the older members and the children, making our family trip safe and enjoyable.
A huge thank you to Joy for giving us such wonderful memories! If any friends or family are planning a trip to Kansai, I will definitely recommend Joy's tour! 👍★

A wonderful tour! The group was mostly Chinese, but they dubbed everything in English. Everything was on schedule. The itinerary was excellent, and I visited places I hadn't had time to see during my stay in Osaka. There was a very interesting matcha brewing workshop. The bus was a bit of a letdown; it broke down on the way home, but we still got another hour in Kyoto.★

We had an amazing day with our guide Jasmine, who accompanied us from Osaka to Nara, Uji and Kyoto. We had a comfortable minivan transfer and even could take our luggage with us. We were the only family of four so it was like a real vip excursion. We enjoyed the best of Nara park and the guide kindly accompanied us across Uji and the beautiful Uji museum, showing us the best shops and places. In Kyoto we not only visited the best sights, but also found a big Totoro shop with the help of Jasmine, the visit of this very shop was our family’s big dream and it came true, thank you! We loved our trip and we are very grateful for giving us a warm welcome in Japan.
